Happy 2018! Hope you enjoy this video! I spent a long time preparing it so I would really appreciate it if you let me know if you like this type of long form content from me 🙏 Or if you’d rather short “to the point” videos. Much love xoxo ❤️
ОтветитьImagine your credibility in 2023, who the hell would listen to you? Aspartame in 2023 it's linked officially to cancer and all kinds of diseases, it's ok drink it for 4 years, and after 4 years we will tell you Ooops! Sorry we didn't have the data. 😂😂 what a joke.
ОтветитьI take 300 mg or more daily of sugar free energy drinks
ОтветитьI read so much studies on opposites. This video is very shallow on all sweeteners mentioned.
It is enough for me that mices got problems, I don't need tests on human to prove.
Also on the others where there are no studies, it just means we don't know the effect. We don't know if it is healthy.
It will result in insulin intolerance if you don't consume vitamin d
ОтветитьI kinda wish you went over some of the Sugar alcohols used as calorie free sweeteners
Ответитьwhy artificials when we have natural xylitol, erythritol, Reb M, glysides steviol, monk fruit & allulose?!!
ОтветитьI wasn't that against artificial sweeteners but I feel like they have some underlying issues. As soon as I take sweeteners then I get epileptic seizures. I feel they do something to the brain but most people might not notice it cause they don't have any desease so the signs are underlying.
ОтветитьTo be honest a pro doctor Dr. Gundry. Who I have been fallowing for years he said Stevia is safe all I use is
Stevia
Monk fruit
Xylitol
Erythritol
Raw Local Honey
Artificial Sweeteners trick your brain thinking they are sugar.
Aspartame, Sucralose, Saccharin or high fructose corn syrup I never put those in my food that I cook. Stevia is also put in soda that is way more safe then garbage diet soda.
Great video! Thank you 🙏🏻
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for making this video and citing your sources!
ОтветитьThese studies...you never see studies that introduce how these sweeteners work together
ОтветитьWould had been nice to touch on other sweeteners like monk fruit and erythritol.
ОтветитьSo pretty much most of them are ok? I'm going into my senior year and I wanna be slamming some energy drinks. Sugar free ofc, where something like red bulls is aspartame and ace k
ОтветитьWhy is this video so underrated
ОтветитьCould you do a follow up video based on research today?
ОтветитьThank you for taking a RATIONAL and scientific approach to artificial sweeteners. I'm so tired of how much misinformation and outright BS there is out there now.
ОтветитьThat sigh in the end made me laugh 😄
ОтветитьGreat summary. Thank You!
ОтветитьArtificial sweeteners make me really really sick. 😭
ОтветитьAs someone who relies on this stuff a lot to try to mollify my sweet-tooth while dieting: I really appreciated this.
ОтветитьIt's 4 years later, time for an update!
ОтветитьI can rest easy now. Thank you SOOO MUCH!
ОтветитьAssociation between hair loss and artificial sweeteners! 😊
ОтветитьA lot of SIMPS on this video. You need to update this with the more recent studies done in the EU. Which banned AS in all food. So yea....
ОтветитьIs sucralose still safe to eat in protein powder?
ОтветитьAlgorithm 😁
ОтветитьSeriously? This channel is now unreliable. I'm a nutritionist, a pt and a longtime researcher. It's obvious this is about supporting mainstream science and its reputation and not health.
ОтветитьJust because no study exists doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Often the companies selling these products fund the studies.
ОтветитьBest video I've seen on artificial sweeteners. Jeff N brought me here. Thanks.
ОтветитьI discovered this video watching Jeff's video on grocery shopping for fat loss. This is a great video, Stephanie. Thank you for the information.
ОтветитьDo you know NEOTAME?
ОтветитьInteresting! More literature reviews and in depth evaluation of studies please!
ОтветитьYeah, I don't trust the FDA lol ... also the disclaimer at the end, "if you are healthy..." the downside is most of the USA is not
ОтветитьExcellent evidence based review. I have been directing others to watch you video when they keep regurgitating rumours or pseudoscience around artificial sweeteners. Bonus points for the bibliography!. It is a shame that most content consumers, and producers for that matter, won’t recognise the time and effort it took for you review and summarise the literature to produce this video. Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you Stephanie! This video was extremely helpful. How about a video on natural sugars? Which one is better, honey vs Agave syrup, coconut vs maple sugar, etc? thx
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video, for sure saved me a lot of research. Although, I suffer from migraines that can get pretty bad and read that a couple of migraine foundations said that those susceptible could suffer from worsened migraines, and I could swear when I was drinking clear americans which have aspartame, my migraines were absolutely unbearable, and the effects didn't wear off for months almost a year. I'm trying again to see if my migraines return or worsen as I haven't gotten one in a few months. If it happens this time again I'd deem it safe to say they can absolutely worsen headaches.
Thank you for the video very well made.
The FDA and ACS are not credible sources of information. Both have very clear affiliations with major pharmaceutical and food companies. I am sorry but your sources are corrupt. I am not willing to risk my brain for the off chance these experiments are not funded by the same companies they claim to "regulate".
ОтветитьRewatching it in 2022 makes me feel so nostalgic. <3
ОтветитьYou and Jeff make nutrition and exercise very simple and digestible, keep up the good work!
ОтветитьGreat video Steph. What are your thoughts on Erythritol?
ОтветитьGorgeous
ОтветитьWatching this in 2022. You and Jeff Nippard are amazing! Please keep up this (science-based) content!! Liked and subscribed.
Ответитьinteresting
ОтветитьI only use saccharin so was bummed to see it completely skipped over.
ОтветитьI find Saccharine to have the best taste for tea. Is there some other danger to it? It wasn't mentioned in the video.
ОтветитьI’m sorry but I’m still a lil confused, I weigh 200 lbs does this mean I can safely consume about 40 grams of stevia a day?
Ответить
