ОтветитьHere’s some examples of situations you can work this in:
- pindowns
- ball screens
- attacking closeouts
- transition off the dribble
- transition off the catch
- dribble handoffs
- mid post face ups
Be as versatile as you can in these situations!
This topic is SO VERY TRUE. Adaptability in general is a skill with your ball handling, shooting, finishing, etc. The best players at each level are dudes that obviously have a great amount of skill, but they know how to apply those skills because they’ve played a crap ton of hoops.
To train this you can obviously use variable training (audio cues, visual cues, etc) but just including more live drills into workouts, and just straight up playing more can do wonders for your personal performance. This channel, By Any Means Basketball, Danny Cooper Basketball, and PJFperformance all have great drills on their channels.
Another banger 🔥
ОтветитьGreat video! Also can you make a dwyane wade workout or thanasis antetokoumnpo workout?
ОтветитьMy boyfriend is 22 and working towards his ged (was in mental hospital throughout high-school ) he loves watching your videos and wants to play basketball qt a college when he gets his ged. Could you make a video on maybe similar players.
Ответитьgreat video!
ОтветитьLove the advice to work on as much footwork as you can! Do you think though that guys should focus on the basic ones and then build off that?
ОтветитьYou can see klay putting all of his weight in his right leg on every shoot , he leads with either leg but burst with his right leg it kinda disproves this entire video seeing as these are all made shots and his footwork has a consistent pattern regardless of how gets the results which is what any decent coach who teach their players. Changing your shot too much is easy way too loose it and the more you change it the harder its becomes to find your rhythm
