Religion forces nice people to do unkind things and also makes intelligent people say stupid things. Hand me that small baby for the first time is it your first reaction to think: beautiful, almost perfect now hand me that sharp stone for its’ genitalia, that I might do the work of the lord! As the great physicist Steven Weinberg has put it: “The best will do the best they can, the worst will do the worst they can, but if you want good people to do wicked things, you’ll need religion.”

Don’t think Hindu representatives need to participate in such ‘discussions’. The premise of native faiths is too different and introspective. 1. Science does not posit its random chance. Everything in the universe exists as a process of trial and error. If i buy 100m lottery tickets i will win the lottery, but nobody would refer to that as random chance

2. Science never states everything came from nothing at all, science states it doesnt know where it came from. And rather ironically religion has the same problem - if god can exist out of nothing why cant other things?

Hamza Tzortzis really does use overly complicated language to obfuscate and his followers lap it up. If he was a good communicator with valid points he should be able to present them in simpler terms. I think he does this intentionally. When you examine what he says, he says nothing.
