It’s almost 35 years I am driving s class it’s first time I decide to stop buying because of rear lights, it’s so ugly

I like the new design.

I prefer the styling of the much older Mercs. Can we have a revision of that older look albeit more modern version of it.

Most of these criticisms around this car is due to the big change in car industry happening everyday from techless interiors to big digital screens. Even Tesla had people criticizing for that huge pad at first. Soon enough all cars will look like that,it's a fact, and for me it's nice that a MB top model is already implementing that kind of tech fitting it into a nice elegant enviroment. People can't realize that same tech will save their lives one day on the road and controlling that amount of tech through physical buttons is just impossible. Praise MB for exterior design, finally they managed to turn an s class into something sporty even a young person could like and maybe when you see one pass by you won't necessarily think that there must be a decrepit rich guy inside with his chauffeur driving.
All it looks to me now is like a very fine,elegant rocket doing 0-100 in less than 5 secs dominating the road with its presence and a sporty touch.

A more sporty design in my opinion i think its cool because at least it has some luxurious parts

Looks cheap and a knockoff of a cheaper brand. Was really looking to get into one this year but now I will wait.

Looking nice, but not the steering wheel. Missing the wood and contrasting options... I was waiting for the engine and the horsepower... Expecting at least 550 - 600 KW. Nothing less, with low fuel consumption... 12 - 15 KMS per litre. Waiting with baited breath... Thanks RTK

All of you criticizing the interior probably didn’t own the previous “superior” model. I have a 2018 E-Class which has a nearly identical interior to previous S-Class. Although I didn’t love the new S-Class at first, I now really like the fresh new design which is very different than my current car.

Finally! I real, back to REALITY critique of the 2021 "S-Class"! I've said all along that this model is, at best, an upgrade of the E-Class, not S-Class. Mr. Benz is correct all around, especially how Mercedes dropped the ball with the interior's dashboard and out of place middle monitor (which should have been flushed against the dashboard, not raised). And, don't get me started with the headlamps!!!

Now s class looks fancy.. not luxurious

The reason why the new s class is getting hate:
-the exterior or style outside of it looks like a Chinese rip off or a hyundai
-too much tech features and touch screens
-they are trying to copy off tesla

The only problem is its not for five persons.

i can't get over that grill.. Mercedes, though somewhat sleek, really disappointed with the design.

Looking forward to see what maybach do to this
