Thankyou for making this video! I really loved KyoAni animation, and now more respect for the studio because of their care of the animators.

May the souls of all those who tragically died in the fires rest in peace. Kyoani, your works gave me so much joy. Whenever I felt depressed, I would sit down to watch yiur incredible animations. They made me laugh, they made me cry, and I owe some of my development as a person tl you Kyoani. It sickens me to think that there are individuals who would kill innocent people for no reason. People who were dedicated to their jobs and whose passion made a positive impact in my life.I may not be able to donate much, but I'll try my best to scrounge up some cash. I hope you guys can bounce back!

To continue from the previous observation , The 36 dead fire victim's would be confirmed too be a lot lower than 36 confirmed dead, these people were basically in a building that acted like the human barbeque and that's exactly what happened to them in the very lethal unsafe Japanese small 3 floors and under building. A confirmed waiting for the sicko human too simply arrive death trap at work.

Very very Sickening there doing simple useless stretching routines and Should have been doing mandatory Fire escape Drills instead that way the day of the sick attack they would have been very Practiced of simply what to do and where to go like the simply very close window 2nd or 3rd floor break window jump out and have a way better chance at surviving a Fire. Plus the way of the Japanese Not too simply equipped small office buildings with exterior fire escape stairs is most definitely completely lethal to the occupants of said very unsafe and highly unreliable building had they'd been actively practicing fire evacuation drills

imagine a company losing half of its staff and huge part of its working talent in a mass murder fire, you get donations of 30M $ and don't touch even a dollar when you know business won't do much for years, that's true humanity, they gave all the money to the victims

I love Kyoto Animation. I love them with all my heart and my heart still breaks whenever I remember what happened that day. It's been two years now and it's still painful.

God bless you KyoAni, your work inspired me, when my life seemed so dark and hopeless, you helped me in ways that will stay with me forever. You inspired me to live. Thank you.

It had something different, i couldn't figure it out back then but afterwards i realized that it was eyes, the iconic kyoto eyes. That had glow, has glow and will, have the glow

Tragic because the villain involved had a dad who committed suicide, and his parents were divorced when he was young…kid was disturbed.

Tragedy because Japanese architecture didn’t demand fire suppression systems which could have saved lives at the time.

Tragedy because animation needs talent and 36 died for nothing that day. R.I.P. Kyoani

I've seen some fucked up shit recently and especially regarding Japan, that have made me lose faith in humanity, but seeing this and what Mr Hatta and everyone else did for the employees and victims warmed my heart and helped restore some of my faith in humanity. When the Silent Voice music started when you told us about Hatta running to see what was up and then staying for hours to help out with the situation, I was extremely close to crying. Most CEOs would just see the fire and get on their phone immediately and talk to their affiliates and investigate the financial damage to the business, but Hatta put his employees' lives first before his own livelihood which is amazing to sse. And we cannot forget what Okeda did either. As well as everyone who donated to the cause. Thank you for this video and to everyone who did good to help KyoAni and its employees who - more than just anime creators - are real people who deserve respect and kindness too!!
