This is crap even though you did not have a background in cyber security. Specifically, you had a tech related background, which shows an aptitude for picking it up quickly, as opposed to someone with no tech background.

How valuable would you consider helpdesk roles as resume fillers? I'm doing school mostly online, so I don't have a ton of access to internships or workstudy jobs, but I do know I can snag a helpdesk role or something similiar without upending my whole life.

If you hit alot of companies simultaneously, it can get confusing as sometimes, you may get 3 or 4 job offers in one week. You need to keep records on companies you are hitting on,as with big numbers. You can forget what they do and who they are.
