the only problem i have with the chart of the consumption of electricity due to bitcoin is the bitcoin mining is technically part of the consumption of each country.... china has huge buildings of miners running round the clock lol

All good stuff except Arthur Hayes belief BlackRock could destroy bitcoin simply by holding a lot of it. If it were a Proof of Stake protocol, then yes. Coin control has no influence over the network on a Proof of Work consensus like Bitcoins. Block rewards for miners cant be bought, this guy doesn't get it.

If the boomers dropped just 5% of their portfolio (~20 trillion) into these ETFs quickly, it would increase the market cap of BTC by 1 trillion dollars. This would easily clear the order book on all exchanges because hardly any coins are actively traded. It would be impossible to buy as many as are being demanded in a short time period. Kathy would be grossly under-estimating with her 1.5M target if that happened.

ETFs are a Trojan horse meant to strangle bitcoin so the large firms can manipulate the price and suppress or destroy it.

It's proof of work check it out we have proof of stake now where you lock up your crypto n u get paid a percentage why as there will be less amount in the open market demand needs supply there's also proof of human LOL so many cool blockchain ways to make crypto

by the time block rewards run out BTC will be worth enough and BTC will be that adopted so much that the transaction fee's will pay the miners a modern day visa/mastercard with no middle man available to the unbanked and any one witha phone from 1st to 3rd world.........transparent finacial freedom.

Bitcoin miners need to start looking into perpetual clean energy generated by the new "thunderstorm generator" (plasmoid engine) from Malcolm Bendall. Its no longer just theory. They are working and being multiplied as we speak even if the tech is poorly understood.
