Loving the pop pops. Just wondering, have you wrapped your car in PPF or any paint protection? I just took delivery of a 40th anniversary GTI a week ago and it already has a couple rock chips on the hood. I noticed that the paint is really thin.

That less gas story is not true :p its very bad for your car. They add it for the ecosystem but if the motor is hot and than Falls out multiple time thats verry bad :p

Really like the MK8 GTi content. I'm over the pond in the UK. I have the same model and spec as yours order but with the steering wheel on the order side. Mine will have a OPF from factory. The killer of nice exhaust sound. I think its the perfect daily driver, with enough power for the Sunday blast on the road, great all rounder. Keep up the content.

Any issues with lane assist errors or issues with the radio?

This is on my short list for my next daily. The list currently is: GTI, WRX, SI, Integra, and Accord (gotta have at least one normie car on the list 😂)

Does the lane keep assist annoy that much. Do you turn it off every time you drive it?

mk8 gti's are definitely enticing, just waiting a few years till they're an affordable price. Really wanted an s3, but this seems like a better daily for the money.
