As people get older they learn and grow up, people who say stern is dead are still stuck in their high school mentality. In 2004 he turned on GWB, he was right, stern is the man now because he is a man, thoughtful, informed, intelligent.

the real ending came when a new contract with sirius had him working 3 days a week and many many extra days off as well as devoting over an hour on some days to celebrity interviews which are mostly absurdly boring, i'd say 90% of them are unlistenable.

Who cares… people change… The audience changes… Howard Stern ‘the shock jock’ was/is a bit. People wanted it. Now, fewer people do. We don’t give Al Pacino crap for not still playing Scarface, anymore… Why do people think this is any different? If anything, Howard’s ‘fall’ says more about the general public than anything about him.

I don't think the decline in the Wack Pack featuring is an issue; I don't nor did find them that entertaining for the most part.

The best shows were the conflicts with the main staff, or battles with Elliot Offen or Dice Clay. I literally rewatch those confrontations monthly.

Its crazy that a show that was so important to me isnt even listenable anymore. I remember as a teen being so scared when he said he was going to quit radio. I couldn't imagine living without it. I haven't listened regularly in probably 12 years. I will occasionally look it up now, and its just so cringe.

Couldn't agree with this any more. Howard Stern is dead. His show is boring. He kisses up to A list celebrities. He is going against everything that got him where he is today. He's so woke, I just can't stand him anymore. I cancelled his show years ago!

The show died when Howard went woke and became what he despised.

Howard is more of an NPC now we hear about him but don’t really see him anymore he is pretty much irrelevant great memories of my teen years in the late 80s 😅

I believe the term was coined by one of his employees, the show jumped the shark 10 or 15 years ago, he was so delusional about private parts, that movie was garbage and he bragged about it everyday like a clueless fool, you could here the disbelief in his employees every time.

The Stern Show was big for a really long time so no fall happened. Once a show is that big for that long it's survived way past it's expected life expectancy so Stern can only be seen as a success whether you like him or not.

After Artie left the show was never the same.

My son just started listening to Howard Stern I'd say in 2020. He said that he learned alot by just listening to Howards 101. He came to the conclusion that Howard was HILARIOUS when he had Jackie by his side. He also said that he thought that Robin was white the first time he heard her. He also said that Artie was funny as well. He told me that he cant even listen to Howard 100. Its terrible he said.

Howard Stern is the reason why so many men today think that acting like a vile, unlikable piece of human trash, is a virtue. And the fact that this video admits that all the A-list celebrities that would've never come on his show before because, "they would've easily been the subject of ridicule," were all women. Only proves my point. Maybe Howard just got tired of being associated with the dregs of society!

The Revolution 2013 video is pathetic. I wouldn't believe Howard said the thing he says in it if I hadn't seen the video. I used to listen everyday. I used to wonder what I'd do when he went off the air. He solved that problem for me. Luckily there's Adam Carolla. Adam is not outlandish like Howard used to be, but he is logical and speaks the truth when it comes to all of the PC nonsense. He's also very funny. When I tried to cancel SiriusXM, they offered me an option to keep Sirius without Howard for just $6 per month. I jumped at that. It's hard to believe how unfunny Howard has become.

I loved the Stern show. It's kinda sad really, going from so funny to just run of the mill. Artie Lange was awesome .
