I have a few pieces from John Henric. Sweaters and a braided leather belt and leather gloves. I have to say the sweaters are holding up fantastic. Belt is very nice as are the dress gloves. Great bang for your buck.

ОтветитьIn Japan, I think BEAMS stand out as a premium quiet luxury brand. Definitely check them out.
Ответить👌 P r o m o s m
ОтветитьThe fact that you think that Uniqlo or Banana Republic represent quiet luxury is laughable.
ОтветитьRAlph lauren has several brands. Their high end quite luxury brand is purple label the ones with the large loud logo are from the polo brand and the polo brand is significantly cheaper. Again purple has no labels.
ОтветитьWhat about Loro Piana ?
Ответить11.000 $ Shit ,abnormal
ОтветитьHave to be honest, I can't really get behind including Uniqlo in this list. As part of the fast-fashion industry, their clothing is designed to last no more than 10 washes before getting added to the eternal landfill (given their propensity for non-degrading synthetic fibers). Further, I was at my Uniqlo yesterday and saw a table of "Cotton t-shirts" (their words). I review the tag, and it's 51% cotton. I mean my goodness. Likewise, Banana Republic has been doing what Lukas cited Ralph Lauren as doing: integrating 20% to 40% polyester, nylon or acrylic in their clothes and still selling them at full wool or cotton prices. I'm gonna say it right now: quiet luxury brands = products that are made to last. Uniqlo and BR sadly don't fit into that category
ОтветитьBrioni is still my all-time favorite brand. My first suit was a navy blue Brioni 180S made of 100% virgin wool (bought 5 years ago). This piece sparked my love for classic menswear and the quiet-luxury that goes with it. I was recently looking for something nice from Kiton at Sobs in Cologne. Kiton is the highest level of tailoring from Napoli and belongs on this list for me. Very expensive in the boutiques but a bit easier to find second hand than Cucinelli.
I would also recommend Burberry if youre looking for a trench coat or a coat in general. Im currently looking for a Kensington second hand but in very good condition.
Greetings from Düsseldorf!
Lot of blablabla !!
ОтветитьI'm wearing a Zegna cashmere crewneck jumper in pale pumpkin; $10 at a huge Van Nuys thrift store here in SoCal (MSRP approx $1,500). Boom.
ОтветитьManière De Voir
ОтветитьI got a rust pocket square from John henric. I was underwhelmed, it was small and very stiff shear fabric
ОтветитьJohn Henrick and Banana Republic are my go to brands!
ОтветитьI can vouch for Luca Faloni, have a few cashmere jumpers from them. Amazing quality!
ОтветитьKnitbrary is a really nice quiet luxury brand for men
ОтветитьJohn Hendricks has great men’s scarves. I have one that is apaisley print in navy! 🎩
ОтветитьMy fav brands are Berluti, Bottega, and Lora Piano for quiet luxury.
Ответить😂😂
ОтветитьWho about no luxury and things just well made!
ОтветитьI saw fake Canali suits being sold in Shanghai in 2019. I wonder how many knockoffs are being sold on Vinted?
Ответитьplease look into archibald london
ОтветитьTo your list I would add John Smedley for their knitwear, their merino pullovers are a staple in my wardrobe - a much finer knit than other merino wool pullovers (sweaters) Great value when they have a sale too.
Reiss is also a great affordable brand without logos of any kind, they are made in China usually to keep prices affordable and worth waiting for their sales too.
Chirico vintage Nice vintage Italian brands.
ОтветитьMassimo Dutti products are very basic. It belongs to the Zara Group. Here in Spain is considered a low range mark as Zara.
ОтветитьVous n’avez rien compris 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮!
ОтветитьCORNELIANI ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ the best !!
ОтветитьThanks for the recommendations, there were a lot of brands I’d never heard of so looking forward to exploring the various websites 👌
ОтветитьRalph Lauren has three labels. Polo Ralph Lauren, which is the least expensive label (which is also what you mistook for the luxury label), RRL (expensive mid tier rugged luxury) and purple label, which is out of most people’s reach.
ОтветитьIf u have to work on hiding your wealth, then you probably inherited your money. Hiding wealth means you are ashamed of how you got it. Guys who made it on their own don’t really care what others think. They can flaunt it or go low key. They just don’t give a fk.
ОтветитьI don't think Uniqlo; Massimo Dutti or Suit supply.are good quality. Where are the french and Scandinavian brand?
ОтветитьI wouldn't call Charles Tyrwhitt luxury, or Gutteridge for that matter, they're light years behind Canali
Ответитьwant to add orlebar brown for summer wear especially. also sunspel polos
ОтветитьThanks for your hard work doing this list. Recently, I got a nice fisherman's jacket from this Italian company, Manifattura Ceccarelli, who the Iron Snail mentioned some time back.
ОтветитьI'm a "fan" of Perry Ellis and I'm somewhat surprised that it would not be considered an inexpensive "Quiet Luxury" brand. I enjoyed the list though 😊💯🙏.
ОтветитьGreat video... For Americans, I'd throw in Peter Millar, which works really well with wardrobes based around the Brooks Brothers aesthetic. Also for Americans, you can't really go wrong with LL Bean... which mixes nicely with Ralph Lauren. In addition, with respect to shoes, I've had really good luck with Sperry and Cole Haan. Both are incredibly well-made (for the price), and their designs are based mostly on the classics, but with a slightly modern edge.
I've lost interest in Banana Republic. Over the past few years, the quality of their fabrics seems a bit diminished... but for those who enjoy BR, I'd suggest mixing it with J Crew. For the money, J Crew is very well made... especially with respect to their jackets, vests, and coats. Cheers!
Is it because it’s from Italy ? And / or the way we pronounced very Italian or French ? 😂 But I’m sure there’s No Name brand that is made or tailored by very experienced skilled tailor using a great materials & well exclusively measured for an average working class person.
Unfortunately, he or she isn’t rich 🤑😎❤️
You should probably add a disclaimer that the low prices offered on second hand markets should be taken with a grain of salt. Many of the popular brands are known to have an extensive aftermarket of replica or inauthentic items.
ОтветитьBoggi for shirts. Velasca for shoes. Luca Faloni for knits and trousers. Pini Parma for trousers. Modesto Bertotto for Jackets, shirts and loungewear. Mr Porter for the odd sale item from Boglioli.
ОтветитьI can recommend Modesto Bertotto.
Ответитьlove everything thanks glad I found your chanel happy new year
ОтветитьI think some brands where missing for example Belstaff or Jacob Cohen, but all in all the video was interesting. I also could find some new brands that i never herd of and bought already a shirt.
ОтветитьTodd snyder peacoats are based tbh😊
ОтветитьDont forget paul and shark
ОтветитьLukas, I usually buy cashmere sweaters only but have noticed that some even very pricey ones are actually quite scratchy. Are they fake or just low quality?
Ответитьwhere did you get the shirt you're wearing in the video?
Ответитьshould check out Cavour, many of their clothes are made in the same factory as loro piana if i am not mistaken
Ответить
