Hey, Looking for options and ideas for a fun DGAF budget build in a 93 940 regina sedan. Car was free and about to be scrapped. I named her rough stuff, Absolutely no f**ks given. Cheap is key 😂. Just got a clean head from the yard with 166k port matching to the intake manifold i also grabbed and perfectly in spec valves. Also got a t cam. Aw70 is dying forsure. It leaks everywhere and shifts late. Really want a budget way to ditch regina and do something stupid and fun for as cheap as possible. What would you do with her?

Give miss huff a flywheel from a volvo b20 for more gravy

I like the sound, how many valves is that volvo engine? I heard you mention the ITB's were originally for a silvertop corolla engine

Do you think you can fit the rear bumper and the taillights to the car, cause when I saw that 940/960 , trying to pull out the panel in arms Huff, I thought oh crap, that was some hell of a pull,and I thought here goes the light.panel, didn*t you have some parts, in your garage from Edna & the previous other volvos you had, like the other 740s, unless that is an 850, do you still have the gold 740, that you saw in a field, it had like instruments set up in a metal plate in the dash, it looked like what they would do to the racing cars.

Why the B230? I know that is what came in the car but the B23 is a much stronger engine. In the 47yrs of being a master Volvo tech I never say a B20 or B23 come apart. I saw several B230's break no 3 rod at about 6400rpm. Two of those were at the hands of our tech school instructors.
