If you play pve, do not build on resource spawns.

Im pillaring the entire server on my maps with my tibe and building on the outskirts/edge of maps. 0 lag servers 💯

Only thing I will say is the second you build on those resource spots and the resources stop spawning, your a number one target so be prepared to defend if your on pvp.
Resources are hard to accumulate on the island, structures causes them to stop spawning.

For the dragon boss fight people used to use the male dear (can’t remember name) it can bleed the dragon and can get under its feet so can’t be bitten or flamed. Though that’s old tactic so may not work anymore.

I can tell you our tribe and many others fully will be taking over the entire server capping the server off. Expect a lot of it. You won’t be allowed on and frankly if you do you will be wiped quickly.

HOW DO YOU KNOW....noone has seen gameplay or even decent with the new fighting style and camera placement as well as no undermeshing or peeping through solid rock walls...HOW DO KNOW WHERE THE BEST BASE LOCATIONS ARE ...the real ARK will not be the same and the style of play will change the whole base location game. AHH why bother..not going to pay for or play ASA untill i have seen proper gameplay released

I am with you 10000% my favorite days of ark will forever be the first 6 months on ps4 the people I met and friends I made and memories as well made me love this game I’ll never forget taming a spino for 8 fucking hours on regular meat cause we couldn’t kill stuff for prime lol then when we got a bit better and more experienced we went to scorched earth and got wyverns and man sitting there with that thing for a full day imprinting it and getting milk for it man it was epic getting a 100% imprinted Dino and the grind made it 100x better I cannot wait to get back in to official servers again

with no server transfers at roll out do we know if that extends to downloading creatures and items on the same server they where uploaded on? wondering if i need a drop near my base for pre transmitter

The relic caves and obelisk won't be buildable. You can block them off, but that is generally just painting a huge target on your back, unless you can control the entire server, and most likely you won't. The sea caves and such make much better hiding spots for that matter.
