I bought a 7950x and 128gb to replace my FX-8350 32gb video editing system.
I can't use it for 5H1t because I can't get Windows 7 to run on it.
And H377 will have to freeze over before I use Windows 10 or 11.
What am I suppose to do now, computer industry. I installed Zorin Linux on it, but that's not going to run my video editor.

excellent self help video, found a few things very helpful. but despite that there were things in your video, that I do not show in my screens, I assume that despite in being windows 10, there might be multi versions of it? Still It was helpful and I will be lookin into your other video's for more help. My search is for why my windows 10 calendar keeps changing , does not old information and does not send me email notifications any more. I have had this system for about 3 years and it just recently stopped sending emails, than it came back and gone again. My events were on the calendar showing by day, and now even those are gone. This is my own computer and no one else uses it? troubleshooting this is quite the problem. thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Might get a windows 10 computer for free so giving this a quick look. I liked windows 98 and went to xp on a laptop before going to chrome on a smartphone. Don't like constantly relearning basic features so I been using things as long as I can. Been a few years since I had a working desktop so might give it a try. Chromecast and the phone hotspot has been great the last year or so since internet speeds and cheaper phones have vastly improved.

THANK YOU. I am about to get a refurbished Windows 10. I'd actually briefly had a Windows 10 around 2019, but a tutorial I viewed then started by throwing the tiles at the watcher. :-( It freaked me out and I traded it in for a nicely refurbished Windows 7. But now I must upgrade. THANK YOU for pointedly stating that right clicking on Start brings up a list very similar to Windows 7 (and up). I do not care about the tiles!

Loaded Win 10, and it crashed, did this twice more......Tossed Win 10 permanently. I now have everything required for Win 11 Pro, can't find any point in installing it. Win 11 uses a total bloat of resources with half the functionality of MX Linux.

It's obvious with Window 10 that Microsoft is no longer writing an operating system that can utilize other types of software seamlessly like Windows 7. Yet use Microsoft only software like Bing instead of Google and its works much better. Certainly Microsoft wouldn't intentionally make an operating system that wasn't cross platform. Just like Putin said he wouldn't invade Ukraine.

First step:
Reformat it and install / upgrade to Windows 7.
Be happy. I'm not joking.
PRO TIP: you always want your desktop set to solid black, your desktop theme to always be a dark theme, and to turn Aero OFF (it's a memory pig) and use Classic or BASICD Windows Style.
