Hey Adam, really love your lessons, I've subscribed and I'm following your beginners program. Thing is I have bad knees but I do like to train my legs in the gym I just do lunges and small weight squats. I like your squat jumps but feel I'm gonna pay for doing these, any variations?

ОтветитьThanks for the video. I tried but this is not for absolute beginners. You see, I am over 43 years old and obese (102 kgs 180 cm). That being said, I found very good advice in the video. I might come back once I loose 20 kgs and get stronger. Thanks again for the video

Two questions about the reps:
How many should I do per exercise (and how many sets)?
Also, how long should I hold stretched positions like headstand, crowhold or wallclimber for it to count as a rep?
I need the beginner beginner version - the old woman with baby arms version 😅
ОтветитьI was looking forward to try calisthenics but now I realise I'm way top heavy and my joints are way too busted to try any of these without hurting myself.
Back to lifting weights I Guess.
If headstands are putting pressure on your spine, you are not doing them right.
The foundation should be built through the triangle of clasped hands and the two elbows and the scapula should be engaged, pushing the head off the floor and so putting no pressure on the spine at all apart from the weight of the body the spine would naturally hold when standing upright.
When done properly, you should be able to allow someone to slide a sheet of paper under your head when in the headstand position.

I was searching for calisthenics for beginniers, but precisely for someone who goes on a long trip and will move from different hotels, and no gym.
Some of these exercices are very nice.
May i suggest a complete body workouot with absolutely no equipement ? That would be nice
