How to Remove & Install a Pre-hung Exterior Door

My son bought a townhouse in WV, noticed threshold fallen out and jam rotting. Looks like water has got in and has some rot on floor. How can I find someone with your knowledge and talent in his area? Need someone who can address issues that’s discovered. Wish it was a simple door install… thanks. Unable to buy an outswing door at Home Depot or Lowe's. Outswing door cost a premium and had to be custom ordered even though a standard size of 36" X 80".

I just had a French door replaced and the threshold was about 2 inches shorter than the old one. The tried to fill it in with mortar AFTER installing the door because there was a big gap between the foundation and brick. I’m so frustrated. He says it’s fine but I don’t agree. It’s my back entry door. I sure wish I had someone like you around. Thanks for the video. It’s taught me a rough lesson. I think they just thought taking advantage of an older woman is ok

i was an ironworker for 27 yrs i could have had that door out of there in 3 minutes and i would have messed that brick all the way up.nice to see that people can work and take a few minutes to do things right
