Beginner's Guide to Starfield Space Combat

I’m doing the missions where you gotta repair the satellites and fight the space people everytime you jump to the satellite and I can barely get close to them they beam me as soon I go toward them. I’m level like 16 with the ship you get from the mantis and it’s still hard

you didn't mention it but one of the main reasons for using targeting control systems is so you can knock out the enemy's engines then dock and take over their ship

Great video, but my lasers last nowhere as long as yours!!!!! I get about 1 - 2 seconds before they run out. There is no way I can get behind the enemy ships, they literally spin around and fire at me. I couldn't ever match their turn radius either. Trying to fly my a$$ off but my shields are down in 5 seconds and I'm toast 5 seconds after that. Can never get past level 2 in the combat simulator. Very frustrating - no one would ever design something that flies as horribly as these ships do. So many other space games get ship mechanics SOOOOOO much better than this. (No Man's Sky makes this games mechanics look like they were created by ignorant children).This really makes the game unenjoyable. No reason for such poor UI.

enemies not talking any damage whatsoever I think it's a bug at this point. Also every rocket is missing

Thanks for this! I also found out that you can use the regular left and right arrows on the keyboard to select systems instead of holding alt. Makes it a little faster.
Biggest problem I have is accidentally hitting F in battle instead of G for missiles, and then when you hit O to repair, instead you get camera mode.😅

Not done much normal combat but im in the sim and notice as soon as shields go down and hulk takes damage the systems loose power and it gets to a point where the ship just turns into a brick woth not weapons or thrust etc after having full pips to thrust etc

Final crimson fleet space battle is kicking my ass. I literally don’t know how it’s possible to win. I’ve died 50 times. Somebody please explain how I’m supposed to survive in the razor leaf against 15 other OP ships. I’m lvl 30

As displayed on the HUD near the power distribution you can change the power distribution with the cursor keys. No need to ALT whatever.
