I knew this wasn’t her best song. Somehow I knew maybe cause my obsession over great music, observing how many of my fav tracks on albums are the public’s least favorite; this song was divine as you said flowing that she didn’t work hard on to add to her 💿 . And to taje that win
ОтветитьThis is why I say that “why am I so afraid of singing off key or my voice being exactly perfect in pitch?” When 99% of people aren’t even checking for that. They aren’t (majority of listeners) for pop or rap or more genres with people listening who aren’t professional musicians (technical old fashioned way) it’s like wow I’ve been worried about allll the wrong sh😂t
ОтветитьI hate that song so I get it
ОтветитьI am so over these new millennial artist and there stupid drama. There ridiculous.
ОтветитьI think that this song blew up because someone finally said how a breakup actually feels. It really captures that unhinged feeling that everyone says you shouldn't be feeling. But she validated the girlies.
ОтветитьI’m with SZA. I actually hate that damn song
ОтветитьMan if she officially released big boy-
ОтветитьThis is the second time I've heard her complain about her success. The first was some years back when she posed front cover of "Rolling Stone" with Normani and Meg. And I didn't know why she was upset about it. Now she's getting frustrated over this being successful because it was her least favorite work? Goodness gracious, get over yourself. Plenty of musicians from the past to present have had instances where their least expected songs take off. She needs to quit trippin' and be happy she's found high charting impact finally.
ОтветитьSame as DMX but he embraced it in the end even tho he freekin hated it in beginning. RIP X
ОтветитьWhen I first heard “Kill Bill” I knew it would be on all the charts. It’s somehow pop, RnB, rock and hip hop all in one. It’s a hit.🤷🏽♀️There are worse things.😂😂😂
ОтветитьHonestly same, I draw and draw and draw and it gets no love and i post a WIP and it blows up. Makes me mad bc it's like, how am i supposed to get recognized for what i put all my love into?
Ответитьthat’s why she’s my twin lol cuz same
ОтветитьKind of reminds me of Doja Cat and say so
ОтветитьI really tried to like this album but compared to CTRL, this entire project was beneath her. It’s like revisiting an old friend to find out that they are still talking about the same drama and are struggling to find growth.
Ответитьwell I’m pissed off that her album was dogshit
ОтветитьI understand her…I mean I think her first album is my favorite
ОтветитьUr most popular work ain't always ur best work
ОтветитьI honestly hate when artists say they hate their most popular songs 🙄.
It’s so f’n corny to me. Before they even got their shot they used to dream of such things. Pay your bills take care of the fam and keep it pushing. That’s what I’d do.
Its also bc of tiktok
ОтветитьSo, what she is saying is, that most of society is "low effort" then cries about it in her multi billion dollar home(s) that weren't even paid for? and I have to flip burgers for a living?
ОтветитьIt went viral cause of TikTok
ОтветитьKill bill was not my fav when I first heard n it ain’t grow on me yet it seemed ok
ОтветитьIt’s my least favorite song of hers, so I understand her 💀
ОтветитьKill Bill is one of a kind song. There's nothing like it, when it comes to the sound. I wouldn't let even the artist herself disrespect this masterpiece no matter what she says, Kill Bill would be the best song on SOS.
Low can be the second best.
Kill Bill is not even catchy or that good? Literally every single one of the other tracks on the album is far better. The #1 songs never end up being an artist’s actually best songs.
ОтветитьI can totally understand her, I like the song, but I can see that for her it must be frustrating as an artist to see the music she puts more energy and heart flop. But what can I say, sometimes we just like simple sh*t.
Ответитьi hate that my dumbass probably contributed to that, kill bill and seek and destroy are my favs
ОтветитьSimple, catchy, and relatable.. to a certain toxic people.
Kill bill is one of my least liked songs from SOS
ОтветитьI knew that would happen the second I played all her songs. It was the only one that I fell in love with and had on repeat
ОтветитьKill Bill is ok, but it's definitely NOT the best song off her album, but they play it so much, it eventually grew on me. My initial favs were Love Language, Snooze and Used, I had those on repeat
ОтветитьI’ve noticed this as a recurring theme in SZA’s music and her fan base. SZA’s albums have themes of growth and maturing, usually starting off with her at a place of emotional outburst and sexual deviancy with a lack of self-confidence. Eventually maturing to a more conscious and controlled state of mind by the end of the project. However most fans don’t tend to focus on that. Instead gravitating to 1 early single that shows SZA in a relatively toxic place in life that the fans can relate to (i.e. Love Galore).
I can definitely see how that becomes annoying for an artist not only in an effort way, but with fans seemingly missing the point of the project and glorifying the toxic behavior part.
I don’t understand Kill Bill success… just like Blinded by the light by The Weeknd… they aren’t the best songs on their respective albums but they are the most popular… I blame radio media type of airing for that…
ОтветитьSimplicity is an art form within itself. People are drawn to the genuine energy a simple heartfelt song brings.
ОтветитьMind you she JUST made a tweet saying it’s one of her faves from the album
Ответитьthat’s understandable. to her, it seems like no one cares that she can actually write poetry and is trying to earn credibility as a true artist.
ОтветитьI hate that song she has many songs that deserved number 1 but not kill bill .
Ответитьme too SZA, me too.
ОтветитьI can’t lie I love kill bill 😊
Ответитьthe whole album is fire but yall really hyping kill bill like that when there's love language, gone girl and smoking on my ex pack ?
Ответитьthe melody eats it’s addictive
ОтветитьTotally agree with her, some songs on Sos dated back to 2020 like used and love language. Both are good but didn't receive the attention it deserves.
Ответитьngl I find myself listening to kill bill a lot more than the other songs despite knowing and liking them all because of how many videos on tik tok I saw it’s just the one that we constantly hear. T-shirt as well because that dance to hook that went around on tik tok like two years before she even released it.
ОтветитьIf you hated the song so much why do a music video why did you even make the song if you didn’t care about it? If thats the worst of her problems then she really just can’t appreciate anything. She acts like the song wasnt made by her then when did you even make it??? If you don’t care at all and hate the song then why is it on the album? Literally whining over nothing
Ответитьthat’s how i felt when doja’s mooo song got so much attention. she had better music beforehand😭
ОтветитьI would love to be pissed off about my song charting top 10. Y'all help.
ОтветитьShe has a bad vibe about her. I don’t think she’s a very good person.
Ответитьit’s actually my least favorite off SOS but I still love it!
ОтветитьAs a Prod. Always make music for the fans, the music you hold dear to your heart may be trash to fans only few Artists get it right.
ОтветитьNo offense I don’t like most of this album because it feels over sung and over produced. Like it’s amazing music, but Kill Bill is the only song I can hear “her”. Like we literally love “HER” not only her voice, like I want it to be dripping with sza-ness and sza-icity.
Ответить
