I knew this wasn’t her best song. Somehow I knew maybe cause my obsession over great music, observing how many of my fav tracks on albums are the public’s least favorite; this song was divine as you said flowing that she didn’t work hard on to add to her 💿 . And to taje that win

This is why I say that “why am I so afraid of singing off key or my voice being exactly perfect in pitch?” When 99% of people aren’t even checking for that. They aren’t (majority of listeners) for pop or rap or more genres with people listening who aren’t professional musicians (technical old fashioned way) it’s like wow I’ve been worried about allll the wrong sh😂t

I think that this song blew up because someone finally said how a breakup actually feels. It really captures that unhinged feeling that everyone says you shouldn't be feeling. But she validated the girlies.

This is the second time I've heard her complain about her success. The first was some years back when she posed front cover of "Rolling Stone" with Normani and Meg. And I didn't know why she was upset about it. Now she's getting frustrated over this being successful because it was her least favorite work? Goodness gracious, get over yourself. Plenty of musicians from the past to present have had instances where their least expected songs take off. She needs to quit trippin' and be happy she's found high charting impact finally.

I really tried to like this album but compared to CTRL, this entire project was beneath her. It’s like revisiting an old friend to find out that they are still talking about the same drama and are struggling to find growth.

Kill Bill is one of a kind song. There's nothing like it, when it comes to the sound. I wouldn't let even the artist herself disrespect this masterpiece no matter what she says, Kill Bill would be the best song on SOS.

Kill Bill is not even catchy or that good? Literally every single one of the other tracks on the album is far better. The #1 songs never end up being an artist’s actually best songs.

I can totally understand her, I like the song, but I can see that for her it must be frustrating as an artist to see the music she puts more energy and heart flop. But what can I say, sometimes we just like simple sh*t.

Kill Bill is ok, but it's definitely NOT the best song off her album, but they play it so much, it eventually grew on me. My initial favs were Love Language, Snooze and Used, I had those on repeat

I’ve noticed this as a recurring theme in SZA’s music and her fan base. SZA’s albums have themes of growth and maturing, usually starting off with her at a place of emotional outburst and sexual deviancy with a lack of self-confidence. Eventually maturing to a more conscious and controlled state of mind by the end of the project. However most fans don’t tend to focus on that. Instead gravitating to 1 early single that shows SZA in a relatively toxic place in life that the fans can relate to (i.e. Love Galore).
I can definitely see how that becomes annoying for an artist not only in an effort way, but with fans seemingly missing the point of the project and glorifying the toxic behavior part.

I don’t understand Kill Bill success… just like Blinded by the light by The Weeknd… they aren’t the best songs on their respective albums but they are the most popular… I blame radio media type of airing for that…

Simplicity is an art form within itself. People are drawn to the genuine energy a simple heartfelt song brings.

Totally agree with her, some songs on Sos dated back to 2020 like used and love language. Both are good but didn't receive the attention it deserves.

ngl I find myself listening to kill bill a lot more than the other songs despite knowing and liking them all because of how many videos on tik tok I saw it’s just the one that we constantly hear. T-shirt as well because that dance to hook that went around on tik tok like two years before she even released it.

No offense I don’t like most of this album because it feels over sung and over produced. Like it’s amazing music, but Kill Bill is the only song I can hear “her”. Like we literally love “HER” not only her voice, like I want it to be dripping with sza-ness and sza-icity.
