For the texture gradient one, if you use the distance node instead of the color node on the voronoi and turn the randomness to zero, you get an interesting dotted comic style

ОтветитьThis is exactly the kinds of styles I've been wanting to do! Also, please cover the shading color change in your anime city. It's such a cool effect and I've been messing around forever trying to recreate it!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. Great contribution. You have my like. Thank you so much. Greetings
ОтветитьThis has been great for my digital painting scene! Thanks heaps, from Australia!
ОтветитьHey Kevan this is beautiful, I really appreciate the work you are doing and I always wanted to create work like you are doing...2D - 3D mix...am a beginner in every sense but trying to find my way out😂 this video was really helpful for me.
Ответитьcan you combine this with a base color texture? so the textured gradient shader affects the shadows while still showing the color texture on the model?
ОтветитьKevin you really are amazing and your work is too! Thanks a lot for this very helpful video.
ОтветитьYour toon shader is realy helpfull. Thanks🙏
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I forget the gradient technique Thanks for the reminder.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! I love your work, looks amazing!
Ответитьi have a question can you bake this shader as a texture?
ОтветитьHow do I render? When we switch to render mode, it has a completely different look. <3
Ответитьwoo thanks brother, god bless you
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьThis is not what I want. Is there a way to render cartoonish style by using same textures and objects of 3d scene?
Ответитьnah the viewport scrolling on the mansion is too much. I have never gotten to explore around a scene that cool lol.
Ответитьwow you are amazing! thx yoy very much
Ответитьamazing shaders! The watercolor one is simply beautiful!
ОтветитьThis is the first shader tutorial that I followed that actually worked. Seems like every time there's an update everything breaks. Is there any documentation that explains exactly what each element does? For example, linear light vs multiply - it's great that I know what that does, but I don't know why it does it, which makes it hard to remember. Either way, thanks a lot!
Ответитьthank you :)
ОтветитьDoesn't Cycles already have a BSDF Toon shader?
ОтветитьWhere can i download this? I cant find the link to the textured gradient shader
ОтветитьHi, i loved the third watercolor shader a lot and used it for my entire movie scenes. But i was planning to render them in cycles, since people suggest that saying it looks more professional when calculating lights. Is there a way to make it work with cycles too? I realized it too late and I am out of time...
ОтветитьMe setting up my entire movie scenes with this shader without thinking about that it doesnt work with cycles. I am so dead.
ОтветитьAmazing.
ОтветитьThose environments are so cool. Make you just want to dive in and visit!
ОтветитьAnother cube falls into oblivion
ОтветитьHi! Thank u so much for the tutorial! I have a question: can I put some uv textures into the model and at the same time use this shaders? cause when i put an uv texture it doesnt appears, i can only see the effect of the shading
ОтветитьSomehow when I try to render those. The rendered picture looks diffrent from the rendered viewport shader in blender. Any idea what the problem could be?
ОтветитьHey, I was wondering, if I wanted to use the second shader for like a grass field, what would I have to do to make it ract to light sources, like the sun for example? because right now it looks like a plane with the colour gradient going from dark to light with a small part in the middle being the middle color
ОтветитьWoah, the watercolor effect is so beautiful. I will need to try it out again. I already made your cake tutorial in the past (it was my first Grease Pencil drawing!). Now I am ready for the watercolor effect! Thank you for the amazing content!
Ответитьincredible, I put everything into practice and it turned out great. is there any way for the shader to interact with the color of the light?
Ответитьhello, want to ask about collor ramp, when i add color ramp, the color at my shape become darker, is there some step that i miss?
ОтветитьThis is the kind of video I’ve been looking for!
Ответитьthat tree house is insane
ОтветитьThis is really great. Thank you! I really like your style and the shaders are all just what I wanted.
ОтветитьThis is fantastic. Can you please share details on how you achieved the look of the last toon shader example (the green and black "Wild" text?)
ОтветитьIt's strange, I did all the steps for the second shader and still my dots are way too small. Well, they are deformed by the armature too but I guess it's normal.
ОтветитьWow! Really very valuable sharing your knowledge. Thank you
ОтветитьOh wow, I might actually have to learn the grease pencil tool now 👀
ОтветитьI adored these shaders.
ОтветитьTHIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! whooo! thanks man you are a champion, excited to use the watercolor one for my 2d animation backgrounds!! I love the shader nodes, no matter how cool people think geometry nodes are, shader nodes will always have a special place in my heart
Ответитьyour work is incredible and you're a great teacher. the bobsled piece dropped my jaw to the floor
ОтветитьA W E S O M E
ОтветитьGreat job ❤
Ответитьi love that paint texture
