Came here while looking for ways to properly calibrate my OLED TV.
Man, Linus sure changed over the years. xD

Ya being a photograper i use the color meter i1 display pro. Don’t have the fund yet to get the spectro you have but i do want it to profile my color meter for calibrating tv’s as well. Color calibration is very important for sure.

I just got the SpyderX Pro. Curious how these two compare. Datacolor software is crap though. DisplayCAL is much better.

Looks cool I find your videos very informative. I only have the basic i1 display but I finding I am getting blurry results! I have a Asus rog asus rog zephyrus s gx701g isp screen laptop but can’t find any option in the technology type. I would appreciate any insight you could give

They can move away from true by a dE of up to 2 in less than half an hour!

OK - how do you create an ICC profile? For FREE, I should add.

I know my monitor is out, but I can't seem to do anything about it. I know my graphics card supports ICC profiles, but that's about it.

Why go with the "basic" Pro 2? I went with the Photo Pro 2, it's a much more complete package with the ability to calibrate printers and it only cost me 30$ more between the cheapest Basic and cheapest Photo.

As a graphic designer that works both in web and print, id say this is totally unnecessary. With a good color selection and practice (or if u actually know what the hell you are doing... lol) u can design something for Web/print and make them look the same :) Read alot and practice, and get a book like "color index" from Jim Krause

I hope he'll realize now that there can be TNs with good colors, since he'll be using this to check them.

play with your 400+core i7 and leave those tools to people who can really know how to use it!
