It is not a neutral test. The kids know they are being watched and sometimes might have given an answer they thought was what the tester expected. Children fear being wrong.

Human mind naturally associates the colour white with purity, cleanliness and innocence hence the angels and religious figures are depicted wearing white or brightly coloured clothes historically. Whereas the colour black is associated with evil, darkness and uncleanliness. This has nothing to do with the racial issue. It's just embedded deep in our psyche.

They said the black doll is bad, because their brine is white watch, they can watch movies, like In the movies we see the angels in white God in white infact the whole Heaven is white, but we see the devil in black, the demons in black, we see in especially in Christianity, we see Jesus in white and the angels around him also in white. So that's why even the black kids said the black doll is bad.

I am a blonde hair blue eyed woman and I had a dark skinned baby doll when I was a kid that I asked to get for Xmas which I loved very much. Also, I counted three kids say the darkest skinned Barbie was the prettiest… not just one. 😒

One of my friends in the Philippines selling whitening creams because lighter skin is said to be more desirable. My wife is from colombia and she also uses creams to lighten her skin.
