Be sure to share this info with all your wavy/curly friends! 💖
ОтветитьOmg I just found your channel and we have the same-ish pattern and i need some help lol
ОтветитьDoes the length and heaviness of your hair change the type? I'm a 2b wavy, but my hair is super long and thick.
ОтветитьI think i might have between 2b and 2c when my hair is wet but i havent figured out how to get them to come through when I dry my hair...
ОтветитьAs someone with 2c/3a/3b hair, finding my hair type has always been a struggle for me. My hair in the front starts at 3a towards the top and 3b at the bottom, while the back begins at 2c and ends at 3a. Thanks for this video!
ОтветитьThis was very helpful :) I’m having a baby soon, so I’m trying to educate myself on different curl types so I can have the knowledge on how to take care of her hair. I have pretty straight hair, but the dad has about 4a curls. I’m interested to find out what her curl type will be, so I appreciate all the info I can get!! I will be referring back to this fs
ОтветитьI have 3a 3b 😊❤
Ответитьi think we have the same type of hair 2c/3a and THANK YOU!!
Ответитьsome people tell me i ha e 2b hair but i think its 3a but idk what is the truth
ОтветитьMost of my hair is 3c some are 3b and the a bit that is in the back of my head are 3a so my hair is mostly 3c. My mother is still pushing me to straighten my hair even tho I’m 23, my whole life I believed that my hair is ugly and I should change it’s actually sad I’m so glad that people recognize and appreciate all curly hair
ОтветитьYou are so very beautiful
ОтветитьSuper late, but just started my curly hair journey, in April of this year. My hair is 2C, and 3A. I love going through the process of taking care of my hair, and seeing my curls flourish! It can be tiring, but it’s rewarding!
ОтветитьI'm glad all the 2C / 3A folks gravitated to the same video to figure out what our hair is even trying to do 😂
ОтветитьThe first 7 are on my head ! Oh lord 😅
Ответитьher hair lowkey changed every cut clip 😂
ОтветитьHow is it possible that my hair looks different everyday, from 2a to 3a even? Mostly, the top of my head has straighter hair, but the hair at the front and that is more hidden under the straighter hair, is between 2b-3a.. maybe the hair at the top is more damaged that’s why it’s straighter but it has been that way for years. What can I do, does anyone have any advice on how to take care of my hair?
ОтветитьYes pls
ОтветитьI am a 73 yr old woman with 2c blonde, fine, thin hair. My hair journey has been life long. My first wise choice was to stop straightening the curly hair and embracing it. The second wise choice was moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. The third wise choice was a diffuser on low settings. My latest wise choice is the Denman brush. I have more defined curl, volume, and I can have fresh looking curls for 3 to 4 days with little to no effort. I use a silk pillowcase. Thank you for these videos that really educate us on our God gifted curls.
Ответитьsoooo i have 3c-4a curls
Ответить2b/2c here, this was very helpful!
ОтветитьBabe, first of all you are GORGEOUS! But thank you so much for this! I was actually seeking videos to take care of my daughter’s hair properly and learn new styles . Realized I had no idea what hair type she has. I learned a ton and you helped tremendously with pictures as reference! I was so confused reading online. So now I know her hair is mostly 3b with a little 3c. And I’m 2b2c. Had no clue. thank you! ❤
Ответитьyo no se bro, mi cabello es como bipolar, a veces está con volumen y a veces está medio caído XD
ОтветитьI have 3a hair, and after wearing it naturally for over a year, I'm just finding out about it today! Now I finally know what to tell my family and stylist haha. Thank you so much for the video, I also have a problem with people saying that my hair is not natural. Curly hair problems, am I right?
Ответитьthank you!!! my sister and cousin have pin straight hair, and my brother always cut his too short to tell. So I just thought that it was always, pin straight "easy" or curly "difficult" hair. as it turns out, I have 2c 3a combo (just like reverse of you, 2c on top and 3a hidden underneath) (partiality b/c it is still healing). This was so helpful! Especially the sidewalk chalk metaphor.
ОтветитьWhen i was a toodler I had 3A/3C hair now i have 2C/3A. I have treated my hair as straight my whole life because everyone in my family has straight hair exept for my dad who has never thaught about his curls. I am new to taking care of curly hair, but I hope my hair gets more 3A curls when it gets healtier!
What I love about my current hair type is that i can use hairstyles that is most used by people with straight hair and hairstyles that is most used by curly girls!
I also have similar curls too! I am on a curly hair journey...thanks for this!
Also, what is your haircut?
My hair is like 3a and 2c but it is long so it looks different ❤😂🎉😅😊
ОтветитьMy hair is the opposite of hkw you were describing yours, the back/ underneath part by my neck is super wavy maybe curly i dont know while the other parts are slightly wavy
ОтветитьOkay I’m halfway through this video and I’m following you - I have exactly the same type of hair - the back and bottom are more 2B and 2C - especially the bottom more layer in back - but the front and top are like…little house on the prairie ringlets lmao it’s really temperamental and because I’m only just starting to figure it out I’ve yet to find the products for me. Heavy products destroy the curl - way too heavy. I’m looking forward to watching your other videos!
ОтветитьThis is for real heroic - as a white woman, I feel like none of us were taught anything about our hair. The notion of curl types has been so beyond my knowledge, I can’t even explain it.
ОтветитьHow do I no my curl type if the frizz covers up the curls 😭
ОтветитьI have 2a, 2b, and 2c curls! I just recently discovered I have curly hair since I always used to brush it out dry and always kept it short. My hair gets curlier as it grows longer and the ends are the curliest. My hair at the top tends to be very straight or barely wavy then transitions into loose curls or tight waves. if I don’t do my curl routine, I end up with puffy frizzy wavy hair and I always wondered why, then I tried a curl cream and gel after I washed my hair and diffused it and fell in love! I occasionally blow-dry it on my bad hair days but typically wear it natural. I’m Arab so I have pretty thick and dark hair everywhere and frizz is a huge problem for me. I’m still pretty young and early in my curl journey but I hope to reach full and healthy curls in the near future!
ОтветитьIs it possible to make a 2a into a 3a? My hair is on the wavy side, but has very little definition. It is also quite fine. I have a lot of hair, but it is nearly baby fine. Also, the majority reaches the small of my back, with a small portion thar reaches the top of my butt.
ОтветитьNo same omg like im not lying😭 i have 3A curls and everyone asks me ‘ YOUR HAIR IS REAL?!?’
Ответить2c/3a solidarity right here lol. My hair is a mix of tight curls and loose curls with some wavy bits. It really can'[t decide lol.
Ответитьi’m not even a girl i’m so sick of only seeing curl routines for girls especially with lower curl patterns
ОтветитьI was so happy bc everything she was showing was so accurate until she got to the type 4 category 😕, the lady she put for 4a is an influencer that I absolutely adore but she’s actually 4a/4b (it does make a difference), but besides that the representation for type 4b and 4c still gives off the impression that they can’t curl. The images shown were just undefined and fluffed, all curls can be defined that’s why they’re versatile!!!
ОтветитьI go get a hair treatment every 3 months
ОтветитьOMG!! Thank you! I Am so happy!! I finally found someone that has my exact hair type! 3A (with a mix of 2C, and other 2/3 curls, depending on the product and style I use/do). My hair is straight when wet. I can brush/comb trough it when washed/wet. Finally After so much digging /watching all these hair videos (with girls with straight hair 😳), I found you 👏🏼👍🏻👌🤗🥰. And yes, people used to make weird comments about my hair not being “curly” or “not curly enough” , whatever, we 2s 3A/3B/3B/3C hair girls exist and we can have curls (if we want), or we can have it straight (if we want). Let me guess; you have a mix of ethnicities/races in your family (maybe Hispanic?) where everyone has different hair types/porosities etc. Yeah, that’s my family too. Right now I need some SERIOUS help because I had been doing henna and box dye, with no specific routine that helped my hair stay healthy and now my hair doesn’t want to “work with me “. I need to give it some love and time and need good hair products that will help my specific hair. Thank you! 🙏👌definitely following/subscribing. 🤗
ОтветитьMy hair is a mixture varying from 2c to 3b. The bottom of my hair is like coils but when the top of my hair finishes drying all the curls start to flatten and frizz. It may be from heat damage or just the fact that i am new to the curly hair journey and have no idea how to style/take care of my hair
Ответитьwhat do you call hair that’s straight at the top and then curls at the bottom? i don’t know what to call this since the curls don’t fully reach my roots..
ОтветитьI have all of these types in my hair. 😊
ОтветитьYou are so sweet! Just subscribed
ОтветитьI feel so validated. Thank you
ОтветитьThis is great. I’m a white girl and for some reason every hair dressed I go to say woah you have real curly hair. Idk what to say - Sorry!?! I always feel embarrassed when they say that.
ОтветитьI’m 2c & 3b coarse hair. Down to my hips. 🙂
ОтветитьHello, Have you tried Mavylin Shiny Curls?
ОтветитьAs a guy with 3A curls, its so hard explaining to people, it's my actual hair, and not something i've had made. I also found it really hard to find out which curly type i had, since many people kept saying different stuff. Im happy i found this video, to really help me, and understand my hair better.
ОтветитьYes, talk about porosity. 🎉
ОтветитьMy 8yo daughter is Aussie (Caucasian) and it is very very thick, coarse, & hard to manage.
She has blonde hair that has so many types scattered from 2C to 4A!
I love the random natural blonder highlighted coils in her hair. Her hair is just beautiful. We are still learning just how to manage haha.
Finding the right products that make her hair softer and easier to manage for everyday would be amazing. If anyone has any recommendations, I’d love to see them ☺️ (especially if it is cost effective & available in Australia!).
Thanks everyone
I have Type 2C ☺️ I love that I am able to wet my hair and after brushing, I let my hair dry naturally, & it’s easy to maintain ☺️
