The Failure of Apocalypse Rising 2 | ROBLOX

I'm a huge fan of Apoc, the combat mechanics are completly different from all games, its original, its unique, I was so hyped for apoc 2. But apoc 2 is now a completly different game, the combat mechanics are fortnite, the lore is not the same. nothing is the same. I could make a huge comment, but what I really want, Is an idea to contact Gus, I just want to talk to him.

Simply have a VC conversation with him, I love this game. And nobody is smart enough to make a game like it. ITs simplicity, would allow anyone with a bad PC to paly it. and developers to make more maps or edit current ones. Due to being simple. Simple uis but v ery nice and minimalistic. Its balanced. Its nice. it works. The major problem with Apoc2, is that they probably spent LOTS of money or time into the Combat system they developed that they just dont think removving it its worth it anymore. Or making something different. A Gun system is complex to make, but the problem is that it sucks, and if something dosent work you must start over and they dont see mto want to do that, the same iwth alot of things, including maps. The GUI is basically the same as the launch date, the map looks the same. The combat system is ruined for me. Apoc 1 is so good compared to this, and even friends of mine that NEVER played apoc 1 or 2 prefer apoc 1.

The ar2 mods are corrupted they can ban u for the dumbest reason and ar1 they had a lot of good stuff ex : radio station and the devs talking about how to survive but if we said that to ar2 they would just say it would be copyright, crates save stuff that’s ours or for someone but if we did that in ar2 they would give you the dumbest reason why they should not add it building would be amazing but in Ar2 so many people would be mad because people would camp at an area that everyone likes hacking wouldn’t surprise me I have been killed and have been very geared just to get killed 0.5 seconds later but I think there is still hope for Ar2 and it’s devs

With the a lot of the exploiters providers calling it quits, apocalypse rising can make a comeback

Apoc 2 is a good game, but it's not THE apoc we all knew. It's a shame really

apoc 1 doesnt have that many hackers anymore theyre around but its rare to see them

I might get slammed in the comments for this, but I tried both AR 2 and AR 1, and honestly, AR 1 is pretty dry, and I feel that it's a bit lacklustre in content, meanwhile AR 2 is... Okay, I guess. I'm not really in to the AR series, and this comes from an unbiased standpoint of someone who has NO nostalgia or memories for the first game, so you should know that.

Initially I didn't like AR2 at all because it was so different, confusing and complicated compared to AR1. After playing it for a while I got a hang of the mechanics and now I actually prefer AR2 and think it is a better game overall, especially the PvP mechanics in AR2 are way better in my opinion. I think one of the reasons why AR2 isn't as popular is just that ROBLOX has moved on massively and the game just isn't what is popular on the platform anymore. Many old AR players have moved on and the game isn't that welcoming or interesting to new players on a larger scale

p.s. AR1 will always be super iconic and nostalgic

Ar1 is my favirote game on roblox oat and in my top 3 oat that's how good it was for me if gusmanak would have just remade apoc1 with no cheaters I think it would still be huge today mabey even add new weapons new buildings new items just little things BCS apoc2 doesn't even feel like apoc1 in any way

Whatever dude. I’ve been playing AR since it came out. Sure it doesn’t have as many players as the first one did but AR plays are faithful and loyal to their game and at least we get to appreciate it. I was very happy with the second one. And I still play it all the time
