Can you please do the excel screen test on macbook 15 vs 16 i am really trying to decide. I want to know how much more i will be productive with 16.2 screen..
ОтветитьHi!
Is it okay if I leave my Macbook M2 Ir in the cold (12°C) then use it straight away?
Thanks for the attention, and keep up the good content 👍🏻
Hello, to make upscalling video AI in 1080p or 4k, wich one do you think recommand please ?
ОтветитьNice video. I have a MBP 14 m1 plus MBA m2 15 and MBA 13 m1 so yea I have a problem 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhile I need the M2 pro performance, I find the only acceptable one in terms of weight is the 15inch MBA (which my friends own) (and the 13 inch MBA, which I currently own). Everything else is too heavy. They should put the M3 Pro with 4 E Cores (so battery life is good for normal workloads) in the 15 MBA
Ответитьbeen using pro 14" m1 pro since its release, hell of a beast masha allah
ОтветитьThank you for your help. My sister was asking me to get her a new MacBook for her birthday. She told me she would love the 13 inch MacBook air. So that's what I am going to get her.
Thank you very much for your wonderful video. ❤
I have both the 13 inch m1 MacBook pro and the 14 inch M1 MacBook Pro. For travel, I prefer the 13 inch every time. The 14 is too bulky and heavy. I know it may seem like a small thing, but unless you are editing video all day every day, go with the 13 M1 pro over the 14 inch. I p4efer the pro over the air because of the fan
ОтветитьRemember, with the base 16 inch MacBook Pro you get 2 cpu cores and 3gpu cores over the base 14 inch, so the extra 500 isn't just for the extra size. If you could benefit from that extra performance it could make that extra price for the base models make more sense.
ОтветитьRecently bought MBP 14” and I absolutely loved it. Very efficient machine especially using apps (grapics and basic office) simultaneously. 😊
ОтветитьI bought the iMac M1 512/16GB a bit more than a year ago as my first Apple device and for me there is so much value in its sinplicity.
If you buy a Mac Mini, monitor, web cam, speakers, keyboard and mouse/touchpad it will be price very similarly but the iMac setup is just 1 single cable, that's it. Not need tp manage webcam and speakers position and cables. With the Mac Mini you also need 1 cable to power it, 1 cable to power the monitor and 1 cable to connect the Mac Mini to the monitor. So, you end up with so many different cables compared to 1.
Obviously, Mac Mini is more affordable long term.
Ans there is the issue where the iMac didn't get the M2 update, so i wouldn't recommemd it either right now.
But jist so people know that value is not just in the numbers. There is something great about how dead simple and good looking the iMacs are, and i love it.
A few months ago i bought a MacBook Air 15 512/16GB as my second Apple device and I love it. But my iMac is still my favourite. The screen, speakers, better webcam, no worries qbout battery, less cleaning than a laptop (laptop sits closer to you), etc.
I guess pro=fan!😂
ОтветитьMBA M1 is the best apple silicon mac imo
ОтветитьHello sir could you please tell me Using an external monitor or leaving the macbook plugged in will damage the macbook or it's battery?
ОтветитьI got a 14" M2 Pro Macbook refurbished off of Apple's website. Best decision I ever made. Tons of ports, power, battery, combined with a perfect screen and size. Definitely look at the refurbished section!
ОтветитьEveryone’s use cases will differ. I love how little my MBA sips in low power mode. I prefer MBA over MacMini because it can operate during power failures (I use a cellular gateway for WiFi, which can operate off of a power bank).
I also clamshell w a 32” monitor & Bluetooth peripherals.
No fan is a deal breaker for me
ОтветитьFor best budget, m1 and m1 pro chip still the best for maybe 5 years
ОтветитьWho else watching from their M1 Air?
ОтветитьI notice the trackpad on my 15in MBA is coarse / sticky compared to my M1 MBA
ОтветитьAs I said to you over the last 3 years, for us average Joes, we need a MacBook that does the basics and can fly online and be a daily driver.
I finally bought an M1 MacBook Air and I know this will be my main computer for the next decade, backed up with an M1 Mac Mini.
Thanks for all your videos as well as Luke Miani an a few others who made great videos on the M1s! 💻🙌🏻
I completely don’t agree with you on the MacBook Pro 13”! It’s great for all I do and I’m not playing games n making videos. I’m an accountant and all my work is perfectly fine on my MacBook m1. In fact the 13” size is also perfect and I can do everything perfect with it. Apple made this great laptop for us business guys who make real money and not kidding around with the fluff. All you guys that do videos are in another world and expect the professional people to follow your lead. I can do all my pro stuff on a windows laptop but I enjoy the brightness and quick speed of my MacBook M1 laptop. Your audience is small so think of the real pros in other professions and get their opinion before you go blah blah blah.
ОтветитьI don't know why the 16' is considered bulky and heavy, in escence it's the same size of an older 15 incher laptop
ОтветитьMy university always buys the Pros so a year ago I ended up with an upgraded spec 13" M1 Pro. It's delightful. Oh, so light to take to meetings. Easy as can be to hook it up to a large monitor in my office and use with wireless keyboard and trackpad.
ОтветитьI still stick to my 13" MBA M1 base model for on travel work, but the 15" M2 MBA is tempting. But the real base model (the 512gb one with correct ssd speed) is double the price of the M1. BTW, you should probably make a video on the kirks of the Macbooks batteries, I lost 5% of battery health with only 50 cycles. If things go the same way, at 200 cycles I will be below 80%, and that will be after a year of use. That is crazy.
Ответитьin the world of laptops and that thing(iykyk) 2 inch of difference makes all t
he difference
An upgraded M2 Air doesn't seem great when you can get a refurbished M1 Pro 14" for the same or cheaper. Far better value and a far better machine.
ОтветитьI had the MacBook Air M1 13", but I upgraded to the M1 Pro 16" because the 13" display size was inconvenient for my work
ОтветитьThank you!!! I really love your content so much and love hearing a fellow Aussie on here! I’m sold- you definitely made me see that that MacBook Pro 14 is probably the best way I could go… for just a little bit extra than the air with added specs, yet substantially lower than the 16”. Seriously thank you! I can’t believe I didn’t see that before . Well only started looking for a new MacBook recently….
Cheers!
iMac = outcompeted by Mac mini + screen combo in every aspect
Mac mini w M2 pro = destroyed by entry level Studio
High end 15" Air = totally outcompeted by entry level MacBook Pro 14"
Do you notice a pattern?
On one hand it's cool that there is a competition within the tiers but on the other its quite obvious that its tailored so we have to spend a few hundred bucks more to get the vastly superior option. Its Apples nickel and dime attitude
My M1 Air is still going strong nearly three years later. It has been a fantastic purchase.
ОтветитьNext video: I tried all the apple silicon macs (Was I wrong?!?!)
ОтветитьThis was really helpful. I was deciding on which macbook to get.
Ответить“That’s why he is the GOAT” ❤
Ответитьits been 1 year since i bought the macbook air m1 it is running flawlessly for me its the best money i have spent
Ответитьsmall comment, some of your 's' are really sharp, anyway to fix that in post?
Ответить14” MBP for me - best combination of portability and power.
Ответитьfourth lol
ОтветитьThird
