Of course companies would pour more money into their most popular groups. That's just business. That doesn't make it right.

Entertainment company runs business through idol group, so basically if any idol group fail to do better and show their talent then why company spend money for them if they earn less. if fans are disappoint about this fact then fan should support their group not only verbally but also with money and popularity. every entertainment company gave chance to their idol groups by debuting them, now its idol groups and their fans responsibility to secure a strong spot in entertainment industry with their talent and humor. Cause company wants profit to run. get the facts right and stop being immature...

First Hybe is not an agency it's a label, not one agency Ls are under source music and Hybe doesn't interfere in source music activities txt is under big hit music same as txt and comparing bts and txt when bts made the company what it is today and txt doesn't even make half of what they make sure they shouldn't get overworked and have more resources but it's stupid to compare them to bts and LS.

Comparing Lightsum and Gidle gotta be the dumbest take from K-pop. Gidle (and CLC) literally made Cube into what it is today and gidle makes their own song and concept for their comebacks so investing the same amount as Gidle in a group that barely made some noise is just throwing some money away

do people understand the financial side funding for idols work. leading up to debut tabs are kept on every expense a company incurs on behalf of an idol, some idols debut with a debt of 100000 dollars including training cost and rent , in order to see a profit the idols must first break even until them all the money they make go to the company, when the idol does break even the profits are split usually in a way that's favourable to the company ive even heard companies splitting profits 95 to 5. idols are being lent money, and just like the bank good companies will only give you loans they think you can pay off, less popular groups also usually have less sales and less prospects to pay off loans for huge expenses so they get the cheap stuff, this system changes slightly after the rookie years but mainly stay the same

companies value profits not people in most cases, have an emotional bias like you do, before you speak on favouritism consider whether the group or person is the money maker. companies aren't going to double down on an investment that hasn't yielded profits, they are going to stick with what been known to work .

my personal opinion: i find wjsn's songs r quality earworm songs too, along with ive (which is why i stan both groups). wjsn r also given rlly good outfits since 2019 (there were a couple of times they used high end brands as well
i think the main issue here is not abt the quality of comebacks from ive n wjsn respectively, rather its the promotion that's the issue. SSE does not promote wjsn as well, as seen from their limited appearances on award shows even after QD2 win (ofc i wldnt expect that they wld attend the more popular award shows but i thought they shld appear on AAA as a full grp, circle chart music award etc)

TXT deserve better

Goddess guild Oops I mean Lesserafim is Hybe's current main girl group..if I were Hybe I'd focus on girl groups too..because girl groups are gradually surpassing boy group in popularity..because the industry is learning that using super attractive women to make female audience jealous enough to go lesbian for them to cope whch is much profitsble in theory..

being over 6ft I know bumping one's head to car doors like the tall dude in the hybe boy group is just normal 😂...not the manager's fault its just a heightupational hazard 😵‍💫

TXT sucks. I am so not a fan, they are so overrated and not as popular as people make them out to be. Also what the hell they would never win against TWICE come on now! They are icons I adore twice. TXT does not have a single hit, I don't know a single song by them at all except the loser one. I even know songs I hate so they need better promo then.

well we have to admit TXT is really boring. Even with their songs, it's not that strong. TXT are just strong, because they are in the same company with BTS. It's as if they're trying really hard to become BTS.

TXT is currently the best charting 4th gen boygroup besides Stray Kids. Tbh boygroups are having it fairly difficult currently because of the strong 4th gen girlgroups.

Hybe is the only label that gives their artists freedom to be an artist.
All this TXT deserves better crop up because everyone want TXT treatment to be same as BTS which at the moment cannot be possible.
If you think like that you'll see BTS have this and compare it to what TXT isn't receiving and with that bitterness build up and the conclusion that they are treated worse.
Maybe they are,I don't know...but that shouldn't be judged on the output BTS get... these two groups however great are on a different lane with BTS.

I am a moa and I don't think txt has any problems,, well maybe security is poor outside hybe building but other than that txt is treated fairly.. You can't compare txt with leeserafem cause they are managed by source so source choose to book that rooftop pouring money in that while bighit has different plans than source,, and about security issue both bts and txt lacks that like bighit is great at managing songs and giving vacation and stuff but they suck at security.. Of course bts would have more security..bighit tends to underestimate both their groups on popularity,, and about comebacks, I don't see any problem like others Moas too whine about it at first about why are they choosing to make comebacks with big groups but they still build themselves up,,bighits strategy about both groups is to build loyal fanbase instead of casual listeners and it's definitely working cause now txt is getting out of shell of 4th gen and is now starting to get included in kpop as a whole.. Honestly I like bighit's management style a lot better,, that is building a loyal fanbase instead of chasing the instant success cause it works for a long run especially if it's a big 4 group.. Like if it's a small company group then it's understandable to run after instant success cause exposure is important but in big 4 groups they already have exposure so it's important to build a loyal fanbase using the exposure

the truth is, this actually shows that these companies are doing the right thing financially. they invested their money on the right groups. the "discriminated" groups really cant do anything but work hard and hope to be lucky, they aren't promoted enough for a reason, and its pretty evident that the promoted groups are far more beautiful and talented than them and will bring more success to the company. they need to step it up or move to another company because you cant succeed in the indrustry by playing nice.

I think it's unfair to say that (G)I-DLE is successful because of their company... First, they're not that successful right from the start. They busked their asses off on the streets to let people know their name, posed along with trashcans on an alleyway and even have 260+ first day sales on their debut album. And did I say, they wouldn't have debuted if Soyeon, the backbone of (G)I-DLE didn't took the initiative to produce and write their debut album?

They're successful not because of the way Cube treated them, they're successful because of the charms of each member.

In my opinion, Lightsum just need that one hit song to be mainstreamed and they'll follow their senior's footsteps. Also, sales-wise, Lightsum have already surpassed CLC meaning even the treatment of Cube towards them are better than how Cube treated CLC.

CLC deserved so much better.

I think that TxT is being treated well they have more freedom and stuff than I’ve seen other 4th gen groups have plus 2 of their members became mcs in the three years the e been around which is impressive. And the only reason I was upset with the TxT one was cause of how annoyed TxT looked with the mobbing, but if u think of it BTs are now international superstars everyone knows them so their security would be higher than a new group that’s becoming popular

Not even comparing with Ive, the living condition during WJSN’s debut era was really bad. 13 members + 1 manager sharing such a small place, there are so many people that the only place the member could have their privacy was their own bed with the makeshift curtain. For sure, Starship/Yuehua could do better. In term of discographies, WJSN pioneered cosmic sound and all their albums contained really good songs.

I really doubt that TXT would have even a tiny bit of their current popularity and so many opportunities if they debuted under a small company. Hybe was created using the income generated by BTS and BTS was mobbed by "fans" for a long time before BH finally hired more bodyguards for them, they were protected by actual fans themselves, you can find those videos easily and BTS became popular because ARMY promoted them everywhere by translating their contents, creating fan videos and spreading them, BTS should thank their ARMY translators for their success. In my opinion TXT is overrated, there are a lot of really talented groups who struggles to gain even a bit of popularity.
Le Sserafim's treatment should be compared with GFriend, because they are actually GFriend's sister group, they were debuted by Source Music. And yes, GFriend wasn't treated as well as they deserved.
Ive is treated well because of their two members who were already popular. I am sure they generated a lot of income for their company even before joining Ive. I was surprised that Wonyoung didn't change her company and didn't try to debut as a soloist, because at least two of the people who won first places in previous competition shows acted like that before her. I like it that Wonyoung and Yujin stayed in their original company, I find it them being loyal and humble.
Imo Cosmic Girls were promoted well, they have good songs. Cheng Xiao participated in a very popular survival show, I watched that program because of BTS's Jin. Then I watched all her fancams with her backflips in Catch Me. I really liked that song.
Idle is lucky to have Soyeon. I think their company's treatment is related to her, the girl literally writes their hit songs from the scratch. I think their sister group CLC has a lot of good songs with beautiful movies, but for whatever reason they sadly didn't become that popular.
Imo GOT7 was treated well. I think they were already pretty popular especially their non-korean members, I think they were promoted well. Their members were MCs, they participated in a lot of TV programs. I think JYP just lost a lot of money by disbanding them.
Sometimes companies should wait a little longer, because big success can come later too. Success depends on luck too. And it is better if a group has songwriters among themselves like StrayKids, Idle, BTS, Seventeen and etc.

Starship always have that misstreatment problem since Sistar. They priorities were the money makers.

I think Mid size company invest in groups proportional to the profit they make and Ive is really a golden opportunity for starship and if starship cut down the budget of Ive to give to WJSN and give both group a average comeback neither of the group would be able to make it
But in my opinion companies should atleast invest in group during rookie era to see how much will they be able to make
But agian during WJSN debut starship wasn't as rich as now and during the Iz*one time starship was half ruined by yujin and Wonyoung despite sgaring the funds and during Ive debut they already had the funds to invest in Ive and it worked out

So plss stop blaming Ive becuz they are getting 1/3rd of what they are making and their earnings should be invested in them

This reminds me of Cube, the different treatment between CLC and G-(IDLE).
