"Are There Saved People in Denominations?"
The question is often asked, "Are there saved people in denominations?" To answer the question, let us ask another question: "How is one saved?"
1. The Bible teaches that every spiritual blessing, including salvation is "in Christ" (Ephesians 1:1-7).
2. The Bible teaches that one must be "baptized into Christ" (Galatians 3:27).
3. The Bible teaches that when one is baptized his sins are "washed away" (Acts 22:16).
4. The Bible teaches that when one is baptized "for the remission of sins," he is added to the church by the Lord (Acts 2:38-47).
The Bible clearly states that those who hear the gospel, believe its facts, trust its promises and obey its commands are saved and therefore added to the Lord's church. Since denominations deny the necessity of baptism for salvation, we simply ask, how could there possibly be any saved people in a denomination? [Note: If any reader doubts that this is true, call any denominational preacher and ask him if he teaches that baptism is necessary for salvation.]
The only way a Christian could be in a denomination is for one to leave the Lord's church to join one! Suppose a person has been scripturally baptized into Christ (Galatians 3:27), and then leaves the church to join a denomination. Then you would have a Christian in a denomination. However, we simply ask, "What is he doing there?" When he attempts to worship, he does so in vain because denominational worship is not authorized by Christ (Matthew 15:8-9; Colossians 3:17). When he contributes his money, he is supporting false teaching (2 John 9-11). To remain in denominational error is to be lost.
Using the same line of reasoning, suppose that one, baptized scripturally, leaves the Lord's church to go back to the world as Demas did (2 Timothy 4:10). Now we have a Christian in the world. Again, we ask, "What is he doing there?" If he does not repent, he will be lost. Simon became a Christian and then sinned. He was told to repent of his wickedness and pray for forgiveness (Acts 8:22). To remain in sin is to be lost.
Friends, the truth of the matter is there is one body (Ephesians 4:4); that body is the church (Ephesians 1:22-23); and the saved are all added to the one body by the Lord upon their obedience to the gospel (Acts 2:38-47; Romans 6:17-18). All the saved must abide in Christ (John 15:4-7), or be lost. The simple truth is that people are not saved in denominations.

ОтветитьHey Brother love you so much ❤my dear bro thanks for making videos for our knowledge 😊am from Pakistan my name rimsha
ОтветитьThank you for the teaching.
Please, help me understand your opinion about the ‘NICENE-CONSTANTINOPOLE CREED’ where it states near the end:
“ I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. “
What is your conviction on this statement?
Full statement here:
I believe in One God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, Begotten of the Father before all worlds; Light of Light, Very God of Very God; Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made: Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He arose again, according to the Scriptures;
And ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again with glory to judge the quick and the dead, Whose Kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;
And I believe in One Holy, Universal and Apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

ОтветитьBaptized today 9/17/23 ready for this new journey 🙌🏾
ОтветитьOnly faith, trust and belief in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross is needed for salvation. Adding your ‘filthy rags’ will put you back under the Law. Jesus said, “It is finished. Paid in full.”
ОтветитьI love your passion in teaching and so happy to hear this lesson from you
So many people don't understand the importance of this physical submission. We must follow all the teaching pf Christ.
I’ve always been a believer but wasn’t baptized until a couple years ago and I feel like my knowledge and desire for Christ has more than magnified since, huge increase though not much change in my life, my walk has strengthened and straightened out quite a bit!

ОтветитьPlanning To Get Baptized This Saturday, nervous but extremely excited. I’m tired of giving into sin and listening to satan so I’ve accepted the gospel and accepted Jesus and now I’m ready. ❤
ОтветитьYou receive holy spirit when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Water baptism is not salvation. It is just a declaration of your belief.

I live in Norwich and I'm trying to get baptised but when I ask it seams like they don't want to know. But I'll keep trying.
Ответитьthere's only catholic churches around here and the one non-catholic (protestant) church i didn't see the fire and they were justifying the usage of woke terminology (he/she) when referring to God.
how can i find someone to baptize me?
He explained this so well thank you
ОтветитьBaptism is God's gift to us, a sacrament (or "mystery") in which He pours His mercy on us visible way. Baptism is being grafted in Christ, the washing of regeneration, which is received for the remission of sins. All who have received Christian baptism are baptized into Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.... We can argue about the order of water baptism and the baptism of the Spirit, but they belong together, since all Christians are born of water and the Spirit.
ОтветитьYou should read Scriptural Baptism by Dr. Uuras Saarnivaara (Lutheran). He explains many those verses what they mean in their original context.
ОтветитьRepent get baptized today make sure your baptized in the name of Jesus Christ obey Acts 2 38
ОтветитьAnswer this please, I got baptize twice, what do I need to know about this?
ОтветитьI strongly believe myself as Dravidian-Christian guy just need to immerse in Holy water and I can still pray Allah, Ram and Jesus Christ etc...
ОтветитьPls sir, must we be baptized to be saved?
ОтветитьJesus said to the man on the cross next to him "today you will be with me in paradise". (Luke Chapter 23 Verse 43). Had this man been water baptized???
Water baptism happens because someone has been saved. Water baptism doesn't save.
The recent coronation happened because Charles is now the King. The coronation didn't make Charles the King. Charles became the King when his mother - Queen Elizabeth the Second - died.
A coronation for William or George would be nonsense as neither of them are King.
Charles would still have been the King if he had died after his mother but before his coronation. He would not have been the King if he had died before his mother.
It seems alot of churches nowadays don't do baptism. Should I ask or go to another church.
ОтветитьI know Christians get baptized, but do you have to be baptized in order to be saved? To say it more concisely is when you get baptized the moment you get saved. There so so many verse that seem to promote faith alone and others say baptism is a must to be saved. Not just to be obedient, but to actually be saved.
ОтветитьI’m getting baptized tomorrow and I’m a bit anxious but I know it’s what I must do, I’m somewhat happy to do so
ОтветитьCan I baptize myself at home?
ОтветитьI just love to be Christian, I believe myself as Christian, just need to immerse in Holy water...
ОтветитьJust remember, the thief on the cross was not baptized. His salvation, like ours, is only through belief in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. Period. Sanctification is a beautiful work of the Spirit, which is why the baptism that ultimately matters is the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is a beautiful outward demonstration of our faith in Christ, but it is not required for salvation.
ОтветитьQuestion....I was baptized in the Greek church when I was a baby, but I have come back to God after many years of living in sin, so Do I have to get re-baptized?
I acknowledge that I am reborn through Jesus' death on the cross and his resurrection, so I think I'm alright. What do you say?
how many times should you be baptized?
ОтветитьHow many times should you get baptized?
ОтветитьMore so you receive the holy spirit only at baptism not at the time you accept christ... accepting christ means he saved you from the sins you willfully did past future and present, the Holy spirit removes the sin that you came into the world with that causes you to crave sinning.. that's why you must be born again by water representing water breaking and you being birthed out of it through the spirit... like water Breaking through a pregnancy the same goes for you breaking out of the water spiritually... this is when you
Are born again
It's the remision of sins, to wash away all of your sins and to remove the original sin you born with in the flesh that's why you must be born again to remove it.. that's how you enter heaven without any sin..
ОтветитьI'm getting baptised
