Hi, good day. Asking if do I need to enable secure boot and fast boot after successfully installing ubuntu or leave both disabled?

Ufw, firetools,ClamAV or such stuff, as a noob coming from windows i feel a little naked with just the OS installed. Just tell me how to get the sound to work on Ubuntu. Works fine on Windows but NOTHING on Ubuntu. Dual booting is easy but if i can't get the sound to work on Linux what is the point.

After the dual boot I'm able to run Ubuntu without any error, but, Windows OS is resulting in an error.

Hi i have a doubt in this since it is my first time installing a OS at first I clicked on the Ubuntu menu to install alongside Windows boot manager but it seemed like ubuntu was not installed so i did again but this time i set the location of memory to be used which i kept has a partition from the c:/ drive so my doubt is where there a same OS could've been installed twice ? Thank u....

I hope this is not a stupid question - you said to download the image and flash it to the usb, and then MOVE to the computer you want to install linux on. is there a reason you can't download the image and flash the usb on the same computer you want to install linux on? do you HAVE to use a separate computer for that part? because I can't think of a reason why you'll have to use a separate computer.

When you install ubuntu on a laptop, how would we know that it will discover and configure bluetooth and wifi adapters for ubuntu? The other option would be to use external adapters, which is clunky pieces of USB hardware, attached to your laptop

Hi, i have installed windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 . when I start the PC the default OS is windows. I want to have Ubuntu as a default OS . In UEFI i find only windows as a boot option. Why is Ubuntu hidden in the UEFI?

It works thanks. Make sure to shut down and then plug the USB back in before going into the bios otherwise it might not detect it
