The top three were my ultimate combo back in covid time and they worked miracles

So true I use benzoyl peroxide as spot treatment if I have any whiteheads or pimples with tretinoin, idk if its just me but I feel they have great synergy when used together

Azelaic acid is shown to do the same thing Benzoyl Peroxide does but better, it doesn't irritate but does the opposite to sensitive skin, fades hyperpigmentation AND is great for redness, Benzoyl Peroxide is overrated for my sensitive skin at this point

Tea tree needs to be on this pyramid for inflammatory acne. I know it can be irritating, but so can retinoids and benzoyl peroxide. Fight me.

I would love to know why azaleic acid dropped down! I use it in combo form with salicylic acid.

For me its
1) tretinoin
2) Azelaic acid/ benzoyl
3) niacinamide
4) salicylic acid
5) sulfur

Haha, benzoyl peroxide irritates my barrier to the point it causes acne… I’m going:
1. Retinoid
2. Niacinamide
3. Azelaic Acid
4. Throw the rest in the bin.

I use 2, 3 and 5. A bit sad that L-ascorbic acid is not there...

once i stopped using my cerave bpo cleanser on my body my body acne basically cleared up lol 😭 i think benzoyl peroxide is a tad bit too much for my skin

I got allergies from benzoyl peroxide, woke up one morning suddenly looking like a puffy tomato after using it for months :( :( Tretinoin experience was great though

My top one is Clindamycin by far.
