Pitfalls Of Order Flow Delta Analysis That Traders Make

Worth saying that crypto often doesn't obey these rules. Impulses often end in selling imbalances with very little lifting the offer. This represents the order book carrying price upward. In subsequent candles you are looking for bullishness but a strong negative low is no indication that price will continue. Looking for evidence of buying afterwards is a valid trading move.

Hey Mike , recently purchased the orderflow software and must say like it very much , also purchased the bar-gap indicater today also like what I see , cant wait for the webinar this sunday , is it being recorded btw ?
Mike if it is not to much trouble and if there are more people that would like a video about this , when price made a move and than it kinda slow down and is going sideways are there signs in the orderflow/CumDelta where we can see some signs about what the market is going to do next is it going higher or lower , there are some good examples from yesterday in GC

Passive orders also effect delta
It is very hard to differentiate between passive and aggressive orders

Mike, I am little confused about my trade entries after big delta candles. If we wait for confirmation of follow through delta candles, dont we get a little late in the trade??? Also my SL gets bigger.. right? Also how we can identify that a day high or low is formed after a big delta candle with bulk of orders at extremes? I trade in Bank Nifty and I got stopped out few times trading reversals seeing heavy bids at low of candle or huge offers at high of candle. Market tested these levels again, went few ticks further and then reversed, I did not have the courage to enter again after being stopped out.

thank you very much. Sometimes it's hard not to get excited when you see a nice little imbalance shooting up or down. Always have to remind myself to be patient because sometimes that imbalance gets taken out really quick on a strong move in the opposite direction. Before I watched your content I didn't see the point of the min max delta, but I use it now occasionally specifically for these scenarios. Sir pls do you use 300% imbalances different when trading any market be it crypto on any time. Or do you change the imbalance percentage when using different time frame ?
