Thank you for the update, Ultimate Fact..!! There are some people who believe Devils Tower in Crook County, Wyoming was once a tall tree that touched the sky -- mentioned in the Holy Bible.

"King, you are that tree! You have become great and powerful. You are like the tall tree that touched the sky—your power reaches to the far parts of the earth. “King, you saw a holy angel coming down from heaven. He said, ‘Cut the tree down and destroy it. Put a band of iron and bronze around the stump and leave the stump and its roots in the ground. Leave it in the grass in the field. It will become wet with dew." Daniel 4:22-30 ERV

I didn't believe this, until I saw photographs of photographic seismic readings below the tower.. 🥶😱

What makes the trees smart enough to grow up tall and to live for so many years?

I think the title should not be the biggest, biggest means 1 tree, it could be Big Trees on the Earth.

PHILIPPINES;The 600-year old Balete Tree in the town of Maria Aurora next to Baler, towers more than five stories high. It is said that it would take 60 people holding hands with arms outstretched to encircle it. Locals claim that it’s the largest tree of its kind in Asia. Though it hasn’t quite lived up to its moniker yet, it’s been dubbed “The Millenium Tree” and is now the province of Aurora’s most visited attraction.

The Cat Island Bald Cypress Tree,: A SURVIVOR OF THE CYPRESS logging after the Civil War, this bald cypress is the sixth-largest tree in the U.S. and the largest tree east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It boasts a height of around 83 feet and a circumference of over 57 feet. Located in the back of the remote Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge, across the aptly named “low water bridge,” due to how close it frequently is to the rushing creek, this tree is one of a few in the area that are impressively large.

The tree is believed to be 1,200 to 1,500 years old, meaning it began growing around the same time as the death of Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman Emperor of Europe.

these trees could be found in europe in the past as well, but i don´t know until when exactly.
one of these trees was probably the legendary irminsul, the germanic world tree, the sanctuary charlemagne destroyed when he conquered the saxons and forced them to convert to christianity.

Claiming the Western hemlock has a 9 foot diameter is rather interesting when the BLACK Lufkin tape measure shown on the tree is wrapped at 28. While a 28 foot circumference is equal to a 9 foot diameter, the measurements on that tape cannot be actual feet. The gap between marker 27 and 28 is no larger than a man's fist which is about 5 inches.
The tree being shown is less than 3 feet across in diameter, so the tape must be a conversion tool that when wrapping the circumference, provides the actual diameter in inches which makes sense at 28 inches. There is no way that tree is 9 foot diameter.

Ответить
@Patriotdew
@Patriotdew - 27.12.2023 20:11

The presenter seems confused about dimensions for the trunk sizes. Just one example claims a 2 to 4 foot "diameter" When the tape wrapped around the circumference of the tree is only 32 inches. A 3 foot diameter would represent a circumference of a 113 inches.

Nice to see these. I had the honors of hugging some of the large Sequoia trees in Sequoia-national-park round 1995, and I believe they got taller ever since. Let's hope people would just stop looking for naturally occurring large trees as source for wood and other products. I think we can (as a species) stop "hunting" altogether, and only use what we GROW on our own (the same for animals, herbs, trees, or whatever). Being as many as we are, that's the only way we can let our children live in a world that's somewhat similar to what we've grown in, and see the same kind of nature (aside from naturally occurring changes, like climate changes, rise-and-fall of species, etc.)
