We’re looking at used Hobarts but leaning towards the 60qt on webstaraunt. Hoping it’s enough to get us started and save a few grand out of the gate! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Yup. Seems there was no atmosphere.
Seriously, there were two similar pizza shops in my town.
1. Had 20 pizzas of 3 varieties on hand cooked on racks ready to go. Slices were $2.67 plus tax = $3
They sold about 400 slices in 2 hours over lunch $1200
2. Had no pizzas ready. You placed an order and 20 min later your slice was $4 plus tax $4.35. They sold about 25 slices over lunch.
I've been following you since about 30k subscribers. And I told you about 8 months ago, (and now), I'm so proud of you! Keep it up brother! When the crowd from Hilarities lets out, you'll be bringing in "the bucks" (Ohio State pun intended).
ОтветитьI rarely go out to eat for a few reasons...I'm cheap and don't believe you need to lay down $50 for a mediocre meal and secondly I can cook better then almost anywhere I eat. Now mind you I have had incredible meals throughout my life but I can count them on one hand and I'm 65.

ОтветитьI did a phone consultation with the Buddha, I was getting a lot of oxidation spots on my dough after a few days. I think it’s the whole mill flour, tiny bits of bran stay in after sifting. But the flavour, oh man it’s good

I had the day off from work, so I drove from Akron to try some slices. That sauce is dialed in. Too bad all I managed was an awkward hi, I pictured making some witty comment about pi day being perfect for the 45 minute drive.
I was surprised I couldn’t check in on Facebook, not sure why I got an error trying to add Good Pizza and there isn’t a FB page since I see you on Instagram.
Still boggles my mind that people still open these businesses given the low likelihood of success and razor thin margins.

ОтветитьAll i can say is, treat your staff well. I worked for 2 years at a pizzeria just to be completely f*cked over by my employer. I'm now broke jobless and haven't had my last 2 paychecks. I think im completely done with being a cook.

Looks fantastic but TBH the lighting looks really harsh. If I were you I would trade out the bulbs for a warmer light, although with your orange theme it might be a bit too much. I would still eat there for sure, but it almost looks like a dentist office or something. Best of luck for the future, I hope to open a pizzeria of my own one day too!
