The government's handing of the immigration problem is appalling, the minister admitted that the number of illegals are unknown, that the number of refusals and deportations is unknown, that people are arriving at our ports and airports without documents and their luggage is not searched even though they cannot travel by plane or ship without them. The minister also doesn't know if those arriving in Ireland have criminal records or mental disorders. Vote them all out immediately and start again. Get your friends and family out to vote, because the politicians are selling Ireland out and want to make the indigenous Irish people a minority in their own country.

Arguably the most successful immigrant state ever is USA. It built its greatness on 19th and very early 20th Centuries' immigration from Europe, the British Isles and Ireland. It didn't offer hotel rooms, funding, free medical care etc, it was sink or swim, most swam but equally many did not and returned to Europe. Out of the successful arose America. There's a lesson to be learned. My impression is that the UN is dominated, at least numerically, by 3rd world and developing countries, autocracies and dictatorships. UN prescribed minimum conditions for treating immigrants and asylum seekers, happily ignored by most of the world, are arguably directed at the western world.
