Ответитьsuperb
Ответитьwhat is the difference between default gateway and public IP address?
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you
ОтветитьHow did computer A happen to know computer B's IP address if it does not know where B even is? Of even before that, how does it know B or any other computer exists and is addressable?
ОтветитьHow many people like me working in the IT infrastructure and don't know what this was and now we are United and informed by this video... Now we know the topic... Big thanks
ОтветитьIs this assuming the router is also functioning as a modem? I have always seen wire to the street comes in through the wall hits the MODEM first THEN hits the router. But no modem is shown in your example. So... where does that fit in? Seems to me your "subnet" of 3 computers would talk to each other across the router then if they need talk outside they talk through the router to the MODEM to the internet or other network.
Then again that may be more of a home setup whereas you may be describing more of a business setup.
Excellent 👌😊 👍👌👍😊😊😊
ОтветитьDoes anyone know why a default gateway has a bunch of letters mixed in with numbers? I dont understand why
ОтветитьAlways nice to see that blue and green when I’ve got a question. You are “ole reliable” my friend.
Ответитьbeautiful explanation.
ОтветитьAt 6.05. How does computer A know to ask for the address of the default gateway? Is it pre programmed to do that? I. E. When it can't find the IP address on its own network, does it automatically send an ARP broadcast with the default gateway IP as address. ?
Does anyone know.?
Amazing explanation
ОтветитьGreat video.
Ответитьgod damn, I've only been browsing your channel for an hour but man, I learned about networking more then ever before... god bless you man!!! Thank you!

ОтветитьMay God Bless You, That's all I can say.
ОтветитьI love this channel. I learn so much from it!!
ОтветитьHonestly I didn’t know that the ip address was structured in this manner. Many thanks for the new input from you.👍
ОтветитьThis is really well explained. Thank you!
Ответитьfew questions i want to clear , what communication are made with MAC Address ? and what can MAC reveal ?
ОтветитьQuestion: In the example where Computer A wanted to communicate with Computer D in a different network, you said it checks Computer D's ip address to determine whether or not it has to use the default gateway... Does it not use the default gateway to query that ip to begin with since that device is on the other side of it? (This is a legit question btw, I'm trying to learn).
ОтветитьOutstanding explanation. Thank you very much for these videos
ОтветитьThe last part was very interesting for me but I am still not sure how can A communicate with D?
-Does A knows D IP address? Stupid question, if they play a game online, the IP must be known of D.
-How does the information know where to go after first gateway? The data package has sender and receiver address. The two other routers gets the data and see from where it comes and where it has to go, right?
if computer A wants to talk to computer B on the same network, does it or does it not have to go through the switch?
ОтветитьSuperb explanation!
ОтветитьGod of networking
