Being a tradesman for my whole life I always enjoyed and followed this old House with Tom , norm and the rest of the crew if I could go back and do it again I would love to have the chance to work with those guys

I have to say Tom and Norm are both my favorites . I love This Old House and The New Yankee Workshop and very rarely do I miss a episode including their reruns . Iam 72 and I still learn from them . I also like Kevin O'Conner a lot , he keeps the show moving . Thanks so much for your videos , wish I could have them redo my 1922 farm house .

I have a few millionaires as friends. They don't act any different than regular people other than they are very disciplined hard workers. They would drop everything to help me if I needed help and I would likewise. I judge people by that.
It is nice to know though that he is in good financial shape and I'll bet he is the type that would help out his friends if needed.

I'm 71 and I've been watching Tom and Norm for years now. I've learned quite a bit from them. Wish I could afford to hire Tom and his full crew to come to Texas and build a house for me.

Because "The New Yankee Workshop" is one of my favorite shows I'd have to say Norm is the man.

Tom Silva deserves every cent he has made. He is a humble craftsman that is concerned with helping his viewers and the general public. Your focused on how much Tom is worth instead of researching how much money he and the rest of the this old house team have made Lowe’s and Home Depot from viewers that have learned from them how to do things themselves and bought materials at suppliers. Leave Tom’s privacy alone! He’s a good guy.

I’m not sure the fascination of knowing people’s net worth. As a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, knowing my client’s net worth is important as we can focus on retirement projections, tax savings strategies, charitable giving, or gifting strategies but does it really matter what one’s material worth is to the average person? I think Tom Silva is awesome and if I were building a house he would be my first pick (I actually reached out once to his nephew Charlie to have some work done on a rental property but they were pretty backed up and I needed to get the repairs done before real damage set in). Tom Silva, great guy and super talented with an awesome work ethic. Do I need to know if he’s worth 5 million or 10 million? Nope! Bear in mind, these type of channels aren’t accurate anyway!

Tom's net worth is a lot more than 5 million. He's construction company should pull in a few million per year and then he has so many things going.

I have been watching norm since the days of new Yankee workshop. I learned a lot from him.
Later, Tom silver blew me away with his knowledge of everything related to construction and building. Big fan ...

Silva Brothers is NOT the permanent contractor company for This Old House. Jeff Sweenor of Sweenor Builders also does some jobs for TOH and the past few seasons I've seen him & Tom pretty much rotate each season.

Tom look's a little bit like Mike Ditka and just like Ditka he always has that serious look on his face. Hardly ever see him smile but when it comes down to it he really knows his stuff. I remember when he built a huge deck for this couple. Going over thing's like what to do and thing's like that brought back memories from when I used to build deck's in the south.

Tom is my favorite. I claim to be a student of his via his many videos. He is the BEST!!! I'd love to meet him here in Florida, I have many tasks to be covered at my home. Bringing him here in the Winter would be very pleasing for him, and me.
