How did the 240v system work in the UK please bud
Ответитьthinking of making a dunkleweiss using oly400 for the yeast
any guidance / opinion
I'd love to try it so I'll have to make it
ОтветитьWhy the switch from the Unibrau?
ОтветитьI love Franziskaner and can’t get it easily where I live so I’m thinking I need to get back into brewing my own and compared to when I first brewed my own 30 years ago it seems there are lots of new equipment !
Ответитьyou should try the braumister brew system 20L
ОтветитьHello, What boiling rate (Gal or Lt/Hr) and mash efficiency do you get on the Clawhammer supply equipment?
I am really thinking on getting one and I am trying to get all the facts beforehand.
Great job with the videos, I love them!
Just curious if you've had any success using the grain basket as a hop spider while using this style of system?
ОтветитьDas ist kein Weißbier. Es ist ein schwarzes Bier
ОтветитьThanks for including the recipe in the description but how much water is this for?
ОтветитьThank god for closed caption, that music is like a knife in my ears.
ОтветитьI have been wanting one of the clawhammer bib system for awhile..stimulus check here I come 🤣
ОтветитьIm very happy with mine wish they had the 220v when i bought mine
ОтветитьMartin why you are always without information on how much water is needed per recipe?
ОтветитьWish there was a way to turn the music off. Just a bit distracting.
ОтветитьWhy did you went for clawhammer? I own a grainfather but want a more simple system and i was looking at clawhammer and the unibrau.
Greetings from holland.
Hi,nice item👍 questionnaires: what is the amount of water you start with and how much water do you sparge after? thank you for your response. Marc
ОтветитьHi Martin I always been enjoying watching your video's. Great content and amazing music. Keep up the good job mate all the best...
ОтветитьViewed this last week, but didn't have time to comment. I've been challenged to a 'brew day' to produce a Vanilla/Coffee Porter and thinking of using Tonka Beans (bit of brewing bling). Have you ever used them and if so, what amount per litre? Question open to all :-) Cheers Martin
ОтветитьGreat series! This is a style I haven't brewed yet. I love stouts and enjoy a good hefe. This sounds like a good one for me to try. Cheers!
ОтветитьHi Martin, do you use Beer Smith, if so, do you have the equipment profile for this system? I have the Clawhammer 120 10 gal system...would like to fine tune the profile to get better efficiency. Thanks.
ОтветитьThat system have a pump! Use that to transfer the wort to the fermentation bucket, you did sterilize pump and chiller etc befor chilling = pump it to the bucket, no need of a syphon...
I do have to say that this system sounds more expensive than the all-in-one systems...
Just subscribed. I think what you're doing is great! I'm looking at getting into the Clawhammer System to begin my home brewing journey.
ОтветитьMartin, great videos! Any thoughts on adding water profiles to your videos?
ОтветитьLove the work you are doing here. B roll and music cut together very well. I would love to dispell some myths about darker beers. As would a great deal of folk I would imagine. No they aren't more filling etc. Still love what you are doing!!
ОтветитьRice hulls.... so its no german wheat beer anymore...
ОтветитьHi I just see the vid about the tilt please help I would like to get the tilt But I have carboys how do you get the tilt out of the carboy if I have beer in it as the neck is to small to put my hand in ??????
ОтветитьI used to get Weiss beer in Hoboken, NJ. It was lighter, and they coated the inside of the glass with raspberry syrup before pouring the beer. It was delicious.
ОтветитьThe Challenge: Great music, great footage and not to forget, great beer. Love it!
ОтветитьI'm looking to purchase the big 20 gal clawhammer setup. I'll be using your link for sure
ОтветитьAwesome brew man! You may already be doing this but I have two recommendations when using an electric heating element.
1. Cover the outside connection with electrical tape and a beer koozie to prevent any liquid from splashing and ruining your element.
2. Cleaning - let the element sit in acid over night and make sure all protein residue is removed when you rinse it off to prevent scorching during your next brew. The acid bath will make cleaning go much faster!
Cheers from Bandera Ale Project!
why no dark wheat malt?
ОтветитьThe recirculation on the top of the kettle will not give a chance for oxydation of the hot side ?
ОтветитьGreat video Martin, may I ask what your fermentation schedule was? Did you do anything funky like start at 17c, rise 1c per day until 20c then ferment out?
ОтветитьBanana is ester, but cloves are phenols.
ОтветитьJust wondering how long it took for you to get to fermentation temperature with that plate chiller? Also, what temp, typically, is your water at? Thanks!
ОтветитьWell done review of the clawhammer system! And very nice looking dunkel weissbier! German beers are my favorite and it's awesome to see you brew them.
Ответитьcan i have your old system?
ОтветитьI will gladly take your old kit off your hands... :).. ill start my own 99 week challenge with it..like a pay it forward 'your next'
ОтветитьLove your videos, glad you get to try the clawhammer brew system.
That being said: your guest taster on this one (Evan? Ethan?) does not match your style IMHO. Chugging a pint of dunkel Weise? Are you 17?
I think your other tasters suit your channel better. Sláinte!
Careful if you use coco nibs with a plate chiller, they have little seeds that can clog the plate chiller. If you're going to use them or other spices put them in a bag, that way you can just remove the bag with the spices and etc so they don't clog your plate chiller. I did notice that the kettle did have a filter that should keep them out but just be aware if you use a plate chiller that it can happen.
ОтветитьIt's so awesome that you used the Clawhammer! I've done quite a few brews on mine, and I love it! After my next scheduled brew, I'd definitely try this one out.
ОтветитьSongs about "keepers" and "one true love"...I take it you like the new system?
ОтветитьIs this a permanent (for a while) switch to Clawhammer?
ОтветитьI don't know why you would give up a Unibräu system for a Clawhammer system. IMO the Unibräu is a better system TBH
ОтветитьWe have the 240 volt 20 gallon system. Great system to brew on
