Well, in western cultures, it’s definitely a contract. People make contracts for money and property, no other reason many times. It’s all about the benjamins, a contract and a ring of bondage.

Rev. Evans is wrong when he teaches in this sermon that a wife should not submitted to a husband if he's disobeying God.
According to 1st Peter, Ch.3,
"Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear." Please research and correct what Dr. Evans said.

What a word!!! I wish my husband and I heard this message before marriage. We've been married for 19 yrs and I'm struggling in this marriage because he broke our covenant vows. I had forgiven him. But, to find out he's still talking to her. I want my marriage and he says he does, but sometimes it doesn't appear that way. I am a pastor and it's been hard. However, I'll continue to pray for us.

But there is a commandment for a wife to love her husband. You shall love your neighbour as yourself. The definition of a neighbour is as follows; a person living next door to or very near to the speaker or person referred to. Well I'd say a wife is living very near her husband.

I divorced out of 14 years of verbal and psychological trauma abuse and I had been hypnotized back once for four more years of it before divorcing. That satanic trickery is not happening again and has been happening several years now. God said they’ll know we are Christians by our love for one another. I have suffered and been rejected for divorcing out of abuse during the brain/behavior program by even many churches. I want women to know that God loves them more than He hates divorce and I support your divorce out of abuse.

Many blessings to many Kingdom marriages from this sermon! I pray to you God almighty, Your Will in my marriage and for my children in this situation. Not my own. Help me lean not unto my own understanding. Lord, I know iam made the head of my family, so I pray for the strength to renew and rebuild myself in Christ, so that I can lead by example and that my example be followed, but only when righteous. By my Faith in the name of Yeshua, that cast out ALL dark powers and principalities out of, most importantly, my home. That the agents of wickedness be silenced in their acts against this family. Until our final day, together or apart, I pray God that you always have the knowing in their heart of Your Eternal Love for each of them, and 2nd only to Your Love, Father - my love for each of them. God you see my heart, and it is gratefully trusting, in true Faith to Your Will and Your Way. Protect this family for Your Honor and Your Glory. In Yeshua I pray. Amen

I’ve prayed for nearly 10 years. Haven’t lived with my spouse for 8 years. Can’t help but to see how Satan has worked harder than Gods intervention. My spouse thinks I’m the problem. I am firmly seeing that my spouse doesn’t want to do what it takes to have a Godly marriage. Heartbroken.
