Me when someone justify blorp 4 being absolute dogshit because "its for kids" (the original was for kids too)

Blorp 4 was at least better than Blorp 3 in my opinion. The twist villain in Blorp 3 being “burp” felt really rushed and stale. Blorp 4 had a more enjoyable villain to watch, that being “glurp.” Might be an uncommon opinion to say Blorp 4 is better than Blorp 3 but come on, think about it!



Blorp and Blorp 2 are still very good movies in their own realm, both being a decent mile better than the next two movies, but you can tell that in retrospect, the franchise was meant to just be one movie, and they got lucky enough to strike gold with Blorp 2, but now they’re only striking silver at best with the current state of the franchise😢

I am very easily entertained. My best friend is the same. We frequently share the opinion that a film we enjoyed a lot did not deserve the bad ratings and disapproval by fans it received. Because, sometimes, all a film has to be is fun. If you actively look for plot holes, you usually only make yourself unhappy. Of course, there are fictional worlds I care more about than others, and ones where I want the rich worldbuilding to remain cohesive. But the general rule still applies.

That is one thing that always annoys me is when people act like children's entertainment tackling adult themes is this brand new thing that we need to be wowed by. Ex. I remember when Into The Spider Verse came out and everyone freaked out that Kingpin actually killed someone and I'm like "Guys, Mask Of The Phantasm had someone get crushed to death by a giant tombstone and that was all the way back in the early 90s. This really isn't that big of a deal"

Everyone claims to have grown up with Blorp and how it's a "goated kids movie," but let's be honest here they only ever watched it after TikTok started pushing sigma edits of it.

The problem is that on both cases the script was the reason towards the quality

Atleast Kung Fu Panda 4 has movie quality animation, most of the original VAs who genuinely love working on these movies, and while mid based on what I've seen, there was atleast some semblance of creativity and soul.
Compared to the corporate brain rot for Megamind 2.
Kids deserve better entertainment, that's all I'm saying.

Blorp 4 really only makes sense if you watch it before Blorp 3, and consider the last 1/3 of Blorp 2 a dream

I'm just going to post the last paragraph of a review I read of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, that pretty much sums up everything I hate about certain; people. Pretentious, trolling c**ts; specifically.

"I’m giving this an obligatory 5 but, full disclosure, I didn’t actually watch this movie— I am in my 30s and have a life full of responsibilities and passions and meaningful relationships and carving out time to watch a movie very obviously not made for me would be short-changing myself."

The always predictable "it's for kids" response to any criticism of an animated film is pretty funny because the people that say it just kinda don't realize they're outright saying that a work made with kids in mind shouldn't be considered art and kids are dumb and only really deserve to consume garbage.

Yet it's always been adults who are way too into the idea of liking these movies (because a number of studios used to be way better and they got weirdly attached) that drive their commercial success in the first place.

Come on, "Kung Fu Panda"'s animation style was more than okay (although nothing refreshingly new)! It's the story in general that didn't quite justify the new installment for me (and the script was mediocre at times). Did I still enjoy the heck out of it? Heck yeah! Will I watch it as many times as the first one? No, that's just mathematically impossible – when you rewatch them all, you see the first one for the most times, and every next one one time less than the previous one. That's why I read "The Philosophers Stone", like, 5 or six times, and "The Deathly Hallows" only twice. Anywho, you keep carrying that thing, man. Unless you no longer want to (carry the thing or be a man).

The entire Blorp franchise pales in comparison to the masterpiece "Plankton farts and dies"

Blorp was the greatest movie in recent history. I still remember that emotional climax where Blorp has to come to his senses and realize that revenge on his former friend who betrayed him during the Borp Festival wasn't the best option.

Can't wait for spinoffs like Into the Blorpiverse, there's so many stories to get absolutely wrong and blame the audience when the movie flops

Spiderman Across the Universe was the worst. Can we stop pretending like these two movies (the first one as well) are great? The second one pissed me off with how they made the black spiderman the most powerful one out of all the spidermen. It's such a disrespect.
