He's still a little bit on the easy side, Oda is probably the touggest boss in the game in my opinion, but he definetly feels more like an actual threat now and more in line with lore Smasher

My appogee sandy+ byakko beg to differ, blasted my way solo through arasaka tower and beat the new adam smashed easily

Hope he has command grabs similar to Hansen, ability to override quickhacks against V and cause his own cyberware to malfunction and short circuit in return, Adam Smasher should test the player's intimate knowledge of combat in the game, kinda similar to the 'Enemies of N.city' mod.

Adam getting the coolest looking sandy animations is a win-win. I always hated how I could just hack him to death in 15 seconds on previous playthroughs.

Don't be fooled, this game may look nicer, less buggy and kino in shorts like this but it is the same badly designed, boring, empty, broken and soulless game it was at launch. Smasher was only "fixed" in the sense that he now teleports into you, but hey look at the effect from the netflix anime!

Ive been repalying CB2077 on hard mode. Its insanely fun and challenging. You have to actual take cover and think about your next move

while i love how they fix the boss fight, even after the patch, i could beat him with one eye close, it just a pattern for me now

without how much i kill him post edgerunner, when you kill the same man you hate over and over, eventually it become mundane to other upgraded boss

Oh good. When I beat Cyberpunk years ago, I killed him with a dildo in less than 25 seconds. I'm happy about this upgrade.

Idk i've had troubles killing him on hardest difficulty on 2.0. Take me around 5-7 minutes of running circles around him and like 5 retries. Maybe my build was not optimal for that or something (sandevistan/no scripts/body/slow electric shotgun)

Hmm upgrade him further to half edge runner strength

I used to be able to wipe him almost instantly with quick hacks now it takes awhile, and he can counter them with his own.

Is he still allergic to the laser grenades?

In all honesty, with how they hyped up Adam Smasher, his boss fight should’ve been MASSIVE. I’m talking holes in the building, free fall fighting, I deadass wouldn’t have cared if the fight dragged you back to the front doors of the building. Imagine if you and Smasher were just throwing each other throughout the HQ. V can definitely deal some damage, and we all know AS is a force to be reckoned with, at least in lore, but we’re getting a glimpse at his true potential.

Plenty harder but I feel like they could've done more with the fight.

If he ain't a joke now, this video doesn't do the best job of showing that. Still looks like a joke. Only a bigger joke. '' Look and be amazed by me moving moderately quickly 8 feet in this direction, now in this direction, back in this direction '' - Smasher probably. Anyway, cool. I'll take it, it's better than nothing.

Proceeds to spank him like shit, but instead of 20 seconds it took probably 50 heh (I know that it’s cut, but I guess it wasn’t a problem either way)

Should've been like this from the begining.
Still remember how 2 shots of a shotgun took around half of his HP during 1.3 patch... was beyond underwhelming
