Even when Sega had their own home 16-bit game console on the market with the Mega Drive & Genesis they continued to put out 8-bit versions of their software lineup in order to get every single yen, dollar, pound and Brazilian Real out of gamer’s pockets that still played 8-bit Sega consoles. I'm going to take a look at twenty two 8-bit Sega Master System games that were based on more powerful arcade or 16-bit games. These 8-bit Sega games are not without polish, charm, and are great games in their own right. Then I'll cover three that are not as good as they could have been.
