AMAZON FIRESTICK REMOTE 30 SECOND FIX - SYNC TO STICK AND TV - NEW AND OLD REMOTES

I don't like making any comments but, I have to say thanks, Finally, I'm able to work the volume and the on & off button. My second remote with your channel and they both worked. I'm not good with these gadgets remote. So thanks to your channel, it helped.

Nothing fungus works. I have. 4k stick remote and a gen 1 firestick. NOTHING! It's not connected to wifi so I can't get into the second level menus so WRF do I do now?

Hi, great job on the videos. I had reset the remote and set up the TV to it. But I have a issue. Not sure if there are other options. What is happening is when I go to Equipment Control, I do not see the other options, Manage Equipment, Add Equipment, TV, Fire TV, Advanced Settings. I only see Add Equipment. Clicking on the Add Equip. the TV shows up and then it searches for the TV, which it finds, I select that and the volume works, till I put the stick to sleep or go to a App, I then lose the settings. Talking to Amazon they recommended to go back to factory settings. I was wondering if there are other options is fixing this? Thanks Eero

Great advice. I initially thought I had to pay some to program this remote. I was wrong your step & trouble shutting solution steps were right on point. Especially when disconnected power supply to fire stick it self once I reconnect- it connected the fire stick to remote n problem solved. Once you have new batteries it’s down hill from there. Just follow the process. These guys are on point.

My screen is black no signal

I tried resyncing my fire tv remote several times, changed the batteries, unplugged and replugged my fire stick and still cannot get the remote to even turn on my tv, let alone get to the main screen. The original Tobisha remote works fine. The fire stick use to work until I reset it from the menu and it stopped working.

How do you do that in settings when you need remote to get there?

I pressed the home button until it started blinking. Once it stopped it still didn’t control the tv. The blinker still blinks some when I try to use the controller.

Yep it was the darn batts. I started my workout downstairs, turned on fine, nav'd fine. Then after finishing, I pushed the power button and tv wouldn't turn off. I tried the 10 sec sync I saw elsewhere, no luck. Then saw first minute of yours and oh yeah those crappy stock batteries. Works now. thanks.

I have a trexonic TV. This is not on the list of TVs in "Equipment". I selected "brand not listed". I did as instructed and tried to turn TV off. After 6 failed attempts I could not set up my fire stick remote. Everything works except volume and turn off and on TV. Do you know which brand I can select that would work best in setting up this fire stick remote to my Trexonic 14" TV?

I have changed the battery and also try synching my remote to tv but still it's not sync. The fire TV remote - battery shows offline..

I replaced the batteries with brand new ones. Unplugged the power from the Firestick and repaired using the Home button on the remote. It Worked!! I thought the remote was toast. Thanks for the tips.

I cleaned the receptors inside the remote.oxidation covered the top one.i cleaned a little and bam.some battrries leak .so

Didn't help me. I set my mom's up on a Hisense without linking to it. Brought it over to her house and connected to a Vizio. Seemed to pair with power and audio. Every time the TV was powered off it would lose the pairing. Are you aware of this behavior and how can it be addressed?
