“Waiting by the telephone, Praying to god she’s alone” this man… hits deep
Ответить🇵🇱🇺🇸💪
ОтветитьI grew up with my dad working oilfields he'd be gone for weeks and I hated it but once I got older I realized what he sacrificed for us. He traded his memories with us for us to be able make memories in the future. Now he lives with me and my family and he's the best grandfather anyone could ask for. He is my hero.
ОтветитьHmm, gotta shave H2S
ОтветитьBeen there 🙏
ОтветитьPlz ask me if you need help on them rigs
ОтветитьIv been a rough neck as long as I can remember it’s in our blood
ОтветитьMy husband is trucking for Pam its a bullshit company and we're in debt for his CDLs. This is REAL music and should be playing on country stations just like old trucking songs were. An oil rig a trucker, its all symbolic ❤
Ответитьim from UK....... great video showing great working class people that are the backbone of the great USA !!
ОтветитьThe sun's up almost lunchtime.. I'd say he's running late lol
ОтветитьBeen working in the oilfield 15 years now. We definitely make sacrifices for our families, but our family sacrifices time with us too. Shoutout to all the mommas holding it down while we keep the lights on.
ОтветитьIt’s stunning how many could relate to the same feelings! Dax you are doing a wonderful job putting these emotions in awesome music! Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьI throw trash by hand bad by bag and you got Be out there in any weather with a smile on your face
ОтветитьAin’t no roughneck but been in industrial maintenance for almost a decade. I’m on call, worked holidays, missed so many family events, you name it. Been in so many dangerous work conditions, but being a provider and protector for my loved ones was instilled into me from a young age. From grandparent’s little farm to where I am now. Turning 28 next year but my soul is 60 ❤
ОтветитьNot a Roughneck, But I spend most of my time in long nose Pete making sure my Family has a roof over their heads, food on table and what they need. Im fine sleeping in my truck so they can sleep comfy in their beds.
ОтветитьThere was a saying my mom told me its about fisherman but it applies to this type of work to but the saying goes it takes a strong man to do that job but takes an even stronger woman to love that man
Ответитьfinally a song that tells the working man's story. it's not all glory not always their choice not to be at a family function. but the decide to provide for there family. that's the real heroes
ОтветитьI was born into the patch as I like to say. To the ppl that think us wife’s and our husbands are just in it for the money. Your wrong. It’s a lifestyle. The majority of us are conservative and enjoy sticking to our old school values. Us women have the choice to stay home, raise our babies and take care of our men. The majority of us choose to do this so our children will grow up remembering mom being able to attend events and volunteer at school functions. Also insteal what sacrifices and hard work looks like and the benefits that can come from that. We want our kids to have choices in this cruel world and not just have their life’s mapped out for them. When our men are home for their week or two, it’s nice to be able to spend every minute with them and build memories with our children. That we wouldn’t be able to do working a 9-5 Monday-Friday. We can go take that camping trip out to the lake for a week and enjoy our family without having 100s of ppl around. Sure, we like the finer things but we LOVE the little things the most. Every rough neck I’ve met isn’t content with mediocre. We are built different…. Raised differently. So just because you don’t understand it, doesn’t give you the right to try and speak negatively about it either. We dont go out of our way to talk 💩about others lifestyles. Because we are open minded enough to know that it’s different strokes for different fokes. It’s America and we are all blessed to be able to choose our life journey and we respect our neighbors. We value and love our lord and savior, or families and if your our friend, your also family. So y’all do you and our men will be out there being MEN 🤤 and we will be home waiting for them with a clean home, clean kids, bills taken care of and a hot meal. He has nothing else to do but kick back and rest while we take care of them and enjoy every minute. ✌️
ОтветитьTrue pain must of went into that song. Thank you for sharing one of your masterpieces
ОтветитьBye
ОтветитьHe getting on the road a little late to be a roughneck
ОтветитьLyrics for anyone..
We wake the rooster up to crow
A cup of coffee on the go
It's gonna be a long night
17 degrees and snow
I'm a roughneck hand
American
Touching down wells across this land
Break my back in two for my Uncle Sam
Tripping wet pipe till the sun goes down
A through and through solid blue dirty collared man
I'm a roughneck hand
600 miles away from home
Your waiting by the telephone
Will she even call tonight?
Praying to God that she's alone
But I keep on gotta keep strong
Cause
I'm a roughneck hand
American
Touching down wells across this land
Break my back in two for my Uncle Sam
Tripping wet pipe till the sun goes down
A through and through solid blue dirty collared man
I'm a roughneck hand
I'm a roughneck hand
That old black gold pay roll sure comes with a heavy cost
I'm gonna give my family everything, and I'm gonna have to miss it all
I'm a roughneck hand
American
Touching down wells across this land
Break my back in two for my Uncle Sam
Racking back pipe till the sun goes down
A through an through solid blue dirty collared man
Trading my days to keep my family fed
I'm a roughneck hand
I'm a roughneck hand
27 years in masonry!
LIUNA 1098✊🏼💪
Been labouring ever since i coukd walk, i grew up with my grampops who was a contactor he specialized in building in ground swimming pools, i did that when i was a small buck with just a shovel and a pick
ОтветитьIs it just me or does this have the same beat from "It's Not Over" by Daughtry?
ОтветитьI live for it though. Being away from family sucks but that’s what brings blue collar workers together. We’re all feeling it. I’m a tower hand and we travel 100% of the time.
ОтветитьThis is Hoss a rough neck heavy hauler/equipment operator from Ohio. People don’t under the sacrifices we make. Worked for 3 different oil/gas outfits . Worked from Ohio to just below New York and down to west by God Virginia
ОтветитьHey I need a new hard hat because I smashed the last one
ОтветитьDoes oil tanker crews count as roughnecks
ОтветитьThe part where he's praying his wife ain't cheating, women nowadays ain't worth a dime. Not even the ones on the right
ОтветитьMy grandpa still working but he works for him self he 62 years old. I work so many hours. Only 16 but on the weekends I work like 20 hours
ОтветитьNew Country legend right here , ive listened to this song and a few more over n over , great voice , keep rocking bro , cant wait to hear more and yes you should be on the radio for sure 🙌
ОтветитьIm sick of how err body is a country rapper now.... also be on the lookout for my new single "i talk shit" 😂
ОтветитьI am no roughneck, but I've worked for the phone company for 18 years this Feb. Many birthdays, marriage anniversaries missed due to 16 hour days of gaffing poles, digging holes, placing strands, and cabling. I give it to y'all out there working hard, keeping the nation going. Hats off to anyone and everyone in any trade putting in the work for their families. This is the first music video I've ever watched that I felt like I could remotely relate to in country music, sang on-site and depicting real scenarios and very real emotions.
ОтветитьPraying for all of our hubbys out there on the rig. God bless y’all & thank you for your sacrifice to keep us fed. We got you!!
ОтветитьTrucker here 600 miles away from home, where my truckers for America
Ответитьwe wake the rooster up to crow........no sir mine wakes me up that loud MFr LOL love that guy
ОтветитьI'm a fabrication welder, I have a hard, dirty, and stupid hot job. But I'll be damned if I don't have respect for the roughnecks out there. Y'all are some of the toughest there are and that ain't even talking about the work you do. I don't do much welding anymore, lungs are bad and vision is slowly going out, arc flashes are no joke. But I've seen what happens to roughnecks when shit goes wrong on a drilling rig. I'll take my bad lungs and failing visions over getting ripped in half by a chain or crushed by a bunch of drilling equipment. Y'all are a different breed of bad ass and you have my respect. Y'all are up there with Military Special Forces and shit when it comes to hazardous work and the sacrifices y'all make. 🫡
ОтветитьRooster 🐓 crows and coffee sounds good to me 2025
ОтветитьBeen working oilfield for the past 7 years, recently had a child and the harder part is leaving every damn time I haft to go back to work then missing all the little moments with them
ОтветитьI’m 21 currently been working in the oilfield since my 18th birthday been with the same crew on the same tele double since I broke out when I was 18 been offered to move up from roughneck lots but I have such good crew everyone is like family to me we spend more time with the rig family then we do with our own families but one thing I have come to realize in these past couple years is you can’t buy back time with others time is the biggest thief.

ОтветитьMy father works in the oilfields
ОтветитьSo sad and true you give it all away
ОтветитьOf course she ain't alone. No matter how hard you work to put food on the table and heat in the vents, she's got someone else when your gone. Women can't understand you don't have time to cheat when you're sawing limbs off power lines to keep the lights on after the storm hits. They only know infidelity. Line clearance tree trimmer, oil man, fishermen, soldier, any job that takes you away from home she's gonna cheat. Tennessean here after the floods we went to east Tennessee and west Carolina 4 out of 10 get news the ol lady's cheating. I wasn't one of them. It happened to me after the snowstorm in Texas and we went out there. I just want my boys. But I gotta be gone to provide for them while she puts lies in the head of a 9 and 4 year old.
