The State of Vermont was actually annexed by Canada, but nobody in America noticed
ОтветитьAh, it’s Sunday in the UK. Roast lunch done, sat down with a nice cold beer, a roaring fire in the hearth with the wind and rain safely shut outside, and a Jingles video to enjoy. Life is good…
ОтветитьOne hit on a Lexy sweet sweet never seen a CV go bom from just one salvo yea I know it was a few HP from full but still 👊✌😎
ОтветитьKicking puppies that's just cruel man just cruel. Lmao
ОтветитьVermont had a powerful Senator (hypothetically). Naming of battleships is highly political and has to do with funds and votes to get Naval programs passed during the annual Defence Budget hearings. The hypothetical Vermont Senator probably sat on the Ways and Means Committee or Defence Oversight Committee.
Ответитьvermont is a very frustrating ship to play, slow, long reload, lots of overpens
ОтветитьProfessor Proton!
ОтветитьDoesn't the CV airstrike only activate when a sub is pinging?
ОтветитьCmon Jingles, Supertroopers was based in Vermont...featuring Vermont state troopers!
ОтветитьIf you enjoyed The Newhart Show, you'll probably love The Bob Newhart Show. In TBNS, Bob Newhart played a psychologist in Chicago.
In my opinion, it's even better than TNS.
Super Troopers
ОтветитьEvery time he talks shit about carriers I want to argue back, then I remember the only ones I've used are the Ranger and the Japanese base ships up through tier 8, and that they are abysmally bad. So they probably don't accurately represent carriers in general.
Ответить"Size isnt important" - Denmark
Ответитьfirst time ive seen this one particularly but i know the show @jingles bob newheart show it had the 3 darryles and thier other bother larry
ОтветитьJingles, this is the US, not the UK. The 'r' in Montpelier is definitely pronounced as an 'r'. Just like the USS Helena is correctly pronounced as if you were going to follow it with 'handbasket'.
Ответитьbunch of paid actors in the enemy team xD all turning broadside in front of vermont
ОтветитьWhich is still spanish 😅😅😅
ОтветитьAs a Minnesotan, I want that name off that ship. My state does not deserve to have its name slapped on that T9 ship.
ОтветитьTalking about power creep and Cristoforo Colombo, they should really give Italy some love, why not give them a super ship based on the Ferdinando Cassone, real projects for a massive warship with x8 457mm guns, would be really cool
ОтветитьMost people in America know Vermont because of guns. First state to enact constitutional carry aka Vermont Carry.
ОтветитьI remember the show and I was born in 84
ОтветитьThis ship is crewed by a guy named Larry and his brother Darrell and his other brother Darrell (this is a Newhart joke)
Ответитьfrom Robert Frost:
"Well, if I have to choose one or the other,
I choose to be a plain New Hampshire farmer
With an income in cash of, say, a thousand
(From, say, a publisher in New York City).
It's restful to arrive at a decision,
And restful just to think about New Hampshire.
At present I am living in Vermont."
as a Rhode islander thats an insult lol
ОтветитьThis video has motivated me to be a CV player. Lol
Ответитьi only got half way through that before I just could not watch that mouse wheel zoom anymore....
ОтветитьI actually bought USS New Mexico today in World of Warships and I aim for USS Vermont. Bit slow, yes, but it's got good armor and OMG, THOSE GUNS!
And also it has a tighter turn than USS Montana. And bigger guns. So even though Montana is faster, it is also slightly less maneuverable.
I didn't play World of Warships for a long time. But recently your videos made me return to is. Unfortunately my laptop is not powerful enough to play normally so I use NVidia Go and recently my internet is to slow to do even that. But I hope the speed will improve soon so I can play.
I also want to try playing as an aircraft carrier soon. But light cruisers and destroyers definitely aren't my thing. I prefer large ships with big HP pool.
Vermont is still bigger than Wyoming (by population)
ОтветитьI've been playing through Kansas and I actually really enjoy it. Even though 6 out of 12 players in every match are dds subs and carriers which is a nightmare I've found the guns very reliable for a tier 8 bb and I usually have at least decent games even into nightmare matchmaking.
ОтветитьA video about me?!?! THnx!
ОтветитьWatch Bob's earlier show "The Bob Newhart show". Suzanne Pleshette... oh my lord what a woman, what a voice... Plus, Newhart was always great!
ОтветитьCrazy thing is that Wyoming has less population than Vermont yet is 10 times larger in area.
ОтветитьHappy new year sir. U take us yanks for granted we know of Vermont lol and had some crazy guy who ran for President and he lost
Ответитьdammit R. A jingles!!! stop being so damm accurate with our tiny states ( of confusion)!
ОтветитьFamous for maple syrup?
ОтветитьI believe, since this is the US, the name of the capitol of Vermont is actually pronounced "Mont-PEEL-yer." Because of course it is. Also, Wargaming obviously never researched how American battleships were named. It's not just "Well, what states haven't got a chance yet?" Naw, it's got a lot more to do with economic power and political gamesmanship. Because this is the USA. That's why some states have had 3 battleships named after them, while others have been around long enough but have never had one.
BTW, his name, "TheProceedings," is the name of an extremely thick and dull, catalog-sized, newsletter put out by the US Navy.
ohio and wyoming are much higher on the list of irrelevant states than those island
ОтветитьVermont is full of hippie peaceniks who would go nuts if they knew there was a battleship named after their state. Well, they would go nuts for a minute or so, then they'd smoke some weed and go back to sleep. BTW, don't tell them there is a Virginia class attack sub USS Vermont.
ОтветитьC h o n k .
ОтветитьI'm from Delaware, so I am here for Jingles trolling another state for being tiny.
ОтветитьRhode Islander here. Our state is only slightly smaller than the current British Empire.
Laughs in HMS Gaspee
80's
ОтветитьAh yes. . . Vermont. Known only for its maple syrup and nothing else.
ОтветитьWhat's sad is I don't think anyone realized the Kansas (a ship 2 tiers lower) is based off the south dakota class of standard class battleships
.
So this has made me question, was vermont a upsized variant of that class?
Man Jingles out here just eviscerating one of my favorite t10 bbs. With its 16 conceal you can run brisk on it effectively so it can at least be close to yammy in speed at 26.6kts. Plus it's improved acceleration paired with steering gears mod makes it surprisingly agile, especially when you have a t10 bb with an 850m turning radius with around a 14 second rudder shift which is cut in half if you're going from center rudder to full right or left. Only needing 7ish seconds to go do full turn with the acceleration Vermont has makes it hard to hit at range if you play it right. And again 12 18" guns with a 12.6 km conceal and it's new agility you're effectively an overweight assassin. Throw heavy AP and brisk with a modified tank captain build and you're one fat sneaky flank job away from devstriking literally anything you look at. I've snuck up on a yammy with this build and hit it for 90k and they didn't have a clue. Devstruck more unfortunate dm and Annapolis players than I can count. It's the ultimate neuron activation machine.
ОтветитьI love that you pronounce Montpelier in the correct French vernacular. We in the US pronounce it for the most part mont-pill-ee-er just like we Americans like to do. Like in Ohio we have a small city Bellefontaine, we pronounce it Bell-fountain… go figure.
ОтветитьYour comments are hilarious :)
ОтветитьDid Jingles really say "Least big" because he forgot the word "Smallest" existed? XD
Ответить
