this movie will always be special to me. in my 26 years of uselessly living, i will probably never be able to go japan and fall in love with life like i’d dreamed. but this movie, it had everything i’d dreamed of. i relate to charlotte so much, i was in a relationship with a man who never understood me, much like her, but unfortunately i was stuck in a lifeless city, and had no one to connect with. no one to tell me “you’re not hopeless.”

I never thought one day i will listen to this song all alone without her 😶

Easily one of the best movies ever made.

Currently working in Shanghai for 8 weeks. When Im alone in the Hotel at night after the business dinners, I see the downtown of Shanghai through the window.. The insane size..the tall buildings with their lights. I just feel this inner emptiness. A feeling of displacement and being lost. There is almost no foreign ppl at all. Like being in a different world. Its interesting for sure. But it makes me depressed. This song fits my mood perfect.

19 times have been to Japan. Memories of arriving very early morning Narita, cold, no one around, shops not open yet, walking to the NEX station, anticipating the wild Tokyo bustle of the day ahead.

Title could as well has been "Feeding the swans in Bournemouth" or "The end of the behemot". There is not even the slightest cliché-esque hint about Japan, the country where Kyote is supposed to be geo-located.... Doesn't really get airborn either....

I highly recommend watching this movie when you’re on the plane to vacation. I met someone who I will never see again in Jamaica. I’ll never forget it.
