I almost got scammed as well. Luckily, I didn't have my bank account information because my husband deals with all that. I'm not elderly I'm 25 and just a homemaker and was angry when my husband let me know that those were scammers. This world can be full of cruel people who don't care what difficulties they put others through, and I find it quite evil and sadistic.

My mum got scamed because an Indian accent man called her claiming that they were Commonwealth bank and told her that something was wrong with her card and she had to tell them her card details and she actually did that so the next day she called Commonwealth bank to ask them what was the problem with her card and they didn't know what she was talking about and once my mum told them the story they shut down her card her bank account and like everything even though she gave the scammers her card details they couldn't buy anything with it she told her friend the next day and she said that actually happened to her and it was a Indian accent man but she didn't believe that they were the Commonwealth bank so she said that there was a Commonwealth bank behind her house and she would asked them if that was them and the scammers complete hung up so yea btw this is such a sad story I just can't believe it that innocent woman 😔 ❤️❤️❤️

A lot of indians on line say these people deserve to get scammed for being stupid. Please bear in mind that many of the victims have Alzheimer's or some other age related problems, and come from a generation where scams were basically non existent.
