I wonder on the 655k fidelity loss post if it was just a spread. The photos cut off of the whole account if he had sold the spread he would have made credit and might just be posting that clip for clout?

1. FOMO from what you hear from everyone else and what they are doing.
2. Confirmation bias. When testing strategies, we might be too quick to confirm that something works or doesn't work. But we might not have let enough time pass for the strategy to play out in its entirety [depending on how your trade is structured I guess]

Richard Newton made a MUST WATCH video called: "The Price is Fake" - Please share these highlights:
Ryan Cohen bought 10 million GME shares through the IEX exchange, and it affected the price of GME. IEX is an exchange that hits the Lit market.
Lit means viewable by the public, and its activity affects the price. 90% of most trades are routed to dark pools, and are not lit, and don't affect price.

Market Makers are routing ALL SHORTS onto the lit market to drive price down.
Imagine the following 10 buys and 10 sells: Only 1 of the 10 buys are lit, and 9 are dark pool'd.
Then the other 10 are shorts and market makers route those 10 shorts to the lit market.
Market makers have a conflict of interest to put the price of GME and other stocks where they want it to go.

None of GME's price is dictated by:
1) How well the company is doing
2) Supply and Demand of the shares
3) What retail sentiment, and activity is

My personal opinion (not Richard's necessarily) is that Roaring Kitty's plan is to break this entire way of operating.
So that the true price of GME will be discovered. How? I believe the KOSS idea.... That KOSS's outstanding shares
have been bought up by the Kitty, and he is allowing the fraud of selling shares that don't exist, to take place, then
he will reveal his position, along with the date of filing. This will expose the fraud.

this is what i was trying to ask you about in that live stream... my trading purpose is to monitize my holding of securities in order to grow cash to diversify. Hope that's reasonable... It's maybe an interesting scenario because it's a large portfolio but it's not liquid due to my previous and still strongly held investment beliefs. I'm looking to add trading to my investment.
