Do you have this in a spreadsheet or document somewhere with brands and months and application rates? I can make my own, but your lawn certainly looks better than mine ha!

Thanks for this. I really wish I could have Tall Fescue in my area, you can keep it green nearly all year. Bermuda seems like a lot of work for only 3 months of nice green lawn.

My personal notes
January: pre-emergent/clean-up
March: pre-emergent
April: clean-up/scalp to lowest setting
May: fertilizer plus slow release fertilizer and mow constantly. post emergent if needed
June: second fertilizer application/lawn leveling before scorching heat(early june) mowing twice a week
July: mowing twice a week/third fertilizer
August: scalp reset
September: final fertilizer/ pre emergent
October: final mows usually
November: dormant stage most likely

The one caveat of your opinion is that since you use herbicide you are unable to use the grass clippings as ground cover for growing food. Major loss of work/effort/mulch right there!

Seems too chemical intensive. Is this weed killer safe for ground water? I lived in a 300 year old homestead at the foot of mountains, and the grass was relentless and required no watering and no chemicals and grew faster than I would care to mow.. 🤣 Good soil I guess. I have a new yard and it lacks compost and organic nutrients and tends to be dry.

Do you have to apply sand every year? You never get to the point where the lawn is level for a good while?

Hi budget lawn ….love the simple basics way to have a good looking lawn! Great content easy to follow steps. plus all the products are easy to find and affordable! My first question is the ratio of the mixing of the 10-10-10 and the pro care organic? My second question is do I weed and feed before scalping or weed and feed afterwards? I always apply a pre emergent in mid February here in north east Georgia! Thanks

It really is this simple. I follow the same process except I don't reel mow or level the entire yard - I keep the HOC at 2". And I do treat for fungus - I am impatient.

Hi, I’m a new subscriber and live in north Georgia. I have a small Bermuda lawn that’s been neglected for years and is overtaken with Dallisgrass. I would like to begin routine treatment/maintenance. Would the schedule and products that you described out in this video be appropriate? I’ve read that dallisgrass can be very difficult to eliminate. Thanks in advance!

Hey sir, I’m a professional sprayer. Here’s what I use:
(Based on 250 gallons)
3.75 bags of urea
166 oz of three some
25oz of boulder
333 oz of colonize is
333 oz of micro sync
40 oz chemstick

Expensive stuff. I don’t use anything I have listed on my lawn. Spectracide weed stop and liquid fertilizer (miracle grow). Takes a couple more applications, but the results are the same. It’s more about when and why, opposed to what. Great vids sir!

What do you think of burning off the dead grass. I don’t live in a neighborhood so no problems there. But I burn off my lawn then go back over it with my mower with mulching attachments to get rid of all the ash. Been doing this for years and have no problems.

I have subscribed and found your info must helpful. I'm located Mt Holly NC. I had lawn service and decided to DIY. I was told to stay from 10x10x10 and stay with slow release N. Using weed and feed and then use slow release fert and in fall do your preemergent. This schedule of treatment is not widely advised. I want to get an understanding with a soil test these products should work without putting out money for product to improve your lawn
