FALLOUT 4: BOSTON AIRPORT SETTLEMENT BUILD

In the year 2287, the Brotherhood of Steel arrived in the Commonwealth and declared war on the Institute, the secret organization responsible for the creation of bio-synthetic beings known as synths.

Led by Elder Arthur Maxson, the Brotherhood of Steel is fiercely devoted to the preservation of technology for the sake of mankind. They believe that the Institute and their synths must be destroyed in order to prevent another apocalypse. The Brotherhood poured their resources into the war effort and established a base of operations at Boston International Airport.

During this time, the Sole Survivor joined the Brotherhood. Paladin Danse, one of Elder Maxson's most trusted commanders, sponsored the Survivor's recruitment.

When the Sole Survivor infiltrated the Institute and performed a network scan, it uncovered genetic codes of missing synths across the Commonwealth. One of the codes matched the DNA of Paladin Danse.

When the Brotherhood discovered this, the Paladin was banished, and his execution was ordered. Danse fled from his fate and went into exile, never to be seen again.

A few months later, the Brotherhood flagship was sabotaged and destroyed. The Brotherhood's reign in the Commonwealth was brought to an end, and Boston Airport was soon abandoned. Most of the remaining members fled back South or deserted.

Years later, rumors of a dangerous militant living in the former base have started to trouble the region...
