Note :- getch() isn't use to hold the screen.
Getch() is use to get the character value from the keyboard.
You can still run your program without getch()

Why they are still afraid to switch to gcc/clang.. etc compilers and use modern IDE , like visual studio code, Subline text editor, atom, visual studio...
Don't live under the rock, if you really want to learn core than learn assembly language.
