Disgusting to watch the well-worn-out trope of a daughter-in-law at the mercy of the whims & fancies of a mercurial mother-in-law who is difficult to please & disrespectful & throwing childish tantrums during most of the episode but suddenly turns forgiving & understanding at the end! Such schizophrenic m-i-l-s don't exist. It takes decades, sometimes NEVER, to please such M-I-Ls as many in such situations have commented in the "comments" section. And to what purpose? Is the way to a hubby's heart through his mother's heart? Does he not have any say in how his mother ought to be respectful to the wife he has chosen without her consent?
