I just got suzaku aqua it seems just slightly faster then suzaku both in forward momentom and in gaining altitude

Breed anubis with vanwyrm = faleris

I just set pal stamina to 0.1 and zoom zoom with jetragon

Suzaku is my main flyer beacon is great, fast, a bit faster then suzaku near as i can tell however suzaku 1 has twice the stamina how i know this is i ventured to the frozen land to the north on the far north east corner, the first time i went i had beacon witch was stressful as the map over ther randomly decideds to eat you but there were some tower and i went from tower to tower to get to the fast tavel at the top of the mountain where one of the alliance towers are 1 tower i hopscotched to was super tall beacon needed a break half way up thankfully there was a ledg, went back with suzaku cause i had found some gold chests but didnt have the keys with me, long story short i did the same hop scotch from the same starting point, suzaku made it all the way to the top with a fair amount of stamina to spare, the other thing to note is when the map decides it wants to eat you beacon just drops like a rock suzaku not so much he takes a few second to start to plumit

How come my beakon was slow until i leveled him up?

i bred until i got a shadowbeak with swift and runner i was also going for nimble but i also got ferocious so i stopped.

You forgot ephidran, they can fly too.

i will say it doesn't matter much. just use whoever you like most. tho i will say that i hate how high level frostallion and jetagons saddles are since by time you get them theres nothing to do

For functionality and ease of breeding, combined with the fairly good stats, I'd say Faleris beats the competition, hands down. The higher level fliers are literal pain to breed - for example, you can't easily breed Shadowbeak. You can catch some, but unless you catch enough of them to get the top passives it's gonna lose out (cause if you have top passives on Frostallion Noct, do you really need to downgrade to Shadowbeak? lol)

Meanwhile you can get enough Direhowls to breed a perfect one, then mix it with Pyrin Noct or Relaxaurus Lux to make a perfect Vanwyrm, then breed the perfect Vanwyrm with an Anubis for perfect Faleris, which you can crossbreed down to Quivern (with Elizabee), Beakon (with Suzaku) or Ragnahawk (with Ragnahawk), but can't go up. So getting Suzaku/Shadowbeak/etc with perfect passives is DAAAAAAMN hard. You'd need to wait for them to raise level cap and breed those birds with the new pals of even higher breeding power than the current "legends"


PS: I HATE suzaku's design. The way it flaps the wings - it's to slow down, not to fly lol. So having a "bird" (which is a generous term for that scuffed dragonfly) permalocked into braking animation is kinda stupid.

i for one think Hellzephyr is the best .
it may not be the fastest but it glows in the dark so it helps you see in the dark so you dont have to use the torch all the time

This is a great video for the movement speed alone.
However I can highly recommend when you hit the level for it to use Shadowbeak over everything else you could get before him.
He might be a bit slower than Felaris but by god I have never seen such a broken Pal with his exclusive skill. This skill alone deals more damage than I think everything else in the game.
Mine oneshots every "guardian" boss like anubis, etc. and is amazing at aoe clearing aswell. So dropping a little bit of movement speed to have such a broken ability is well worth it imo

You can downbreed the legend stat from legendaries to other pals 😊

Alpha Quivern, actually has a higher speed, for some reason.

Ragnahawk is my personal favourite. Incredibly fast if you breed Legend, Swift, Runner and Nimble on it + the partner skill is just insane when combined with a pump shotgun.

How good is Astagon compared to them? or where does he fit in i should say?

Im level 34 haven't flown yet idk why it's not letting me I get mounts and it basically says my stats are abnormal...

Thank you for the video, i just struggled a lot to capture jetragon at lvl 42 and forgot i couldn't use him as a mount yet lol, i'll breed a suzaku or ragnahoak i think thanks to your video ;)

Can you do the same tests with ground mounts?

I like to breed the perfect Direhowl first, then crossbreed it with Relaxaurus Lux to get the perfect Vanwyrm, then corssbreed the perfect Vanwyrm with Anubis for the perfect Faleris.... until you get to the point where you can catch Legends, at which point you try to replace Ferocious with Legend perk..

I mean, flying mounts are whatever, but Direhowl is where it's at. One of the very few mounts small enough to fit through dungeon passages. I mean, I don't think anything beats property bred Fenglope on speed or mobility, but it's even bigger than the deers so it's outdoor only.

If you are using the boss Faleris I think its a little slower and has way less stam then normal Faleris like the one used in this video. Just fyi for people who are curious

I bred myself a Ragnahawk with both Runner and Swift, and that bird is one speedy boi. Also got myself a Fenglope with the same Runner/Swift combo, and the Cobalion knock off is looking more like the GOAT instead of an antelope.

Currently breeding jetdragons and I got two with swift legend and divine dragon all I need is runner on one too and itll benaround 55% speed bonus or around 4500 flight speed 😅 swift and legend are enough but im just trying to create the flash incarnate
