I just finished binge watching this and have so many questions left unanswered. My question at the very beginning was why they didn’t subpoena the records of the swingers club? If all of this really happened then wouldn’t the owners of the club and the people who attended club be charged as well if the children were exploited? It didn’t really make sense that none of these people were ever called as witnesses as that would have provided more evidence to build a case with.

I cant be the only one conflicted on what really is the truth . I mean this is a really big lie to be fake so I really don’t know

This documentary was wild I couldn't pause the show it was wild, I was angry at first,then sad, then confused wtf is going on in that small town to have that many cold hearted people I couldn't believe she was interrogation kids like she trained child psychologist and on their words would sentence people to life😮😮

This was certainly a sh@#$@# show from the start. The main thing that caught my attention, even after all was said and done, was the so called "child psychology expert" lady that came to testify for the prosecution ... my area of expertise is not in the behavioral field, but even I could tell something was off having the foster mom sitting next to the the child, kinda of leading on or coaching on what to say... a real child psychologist should've been present at the time of the questioning, for a case where life sentences were to be in play.

The minute I saw her (Margie) been shown the photo, she laughed and then pretend to cry, a few seconds later no tears I was like "Hmm..Interesting"

After watching this, I have so much to say. It's revolting that they got away with destroying those families for their own gain. They've been free this whole time, they fled when even the hint of justice for them came into the picture. They skulked off, back where they came from, while an innocent man died in jail, and other innocent people were given felony convictions that will remain on their records for rhe rest of their lives. The kids involved, now adults, will forever be scarred by their actions, even though they were innocent and brainwashed into saying what they said. They carry that guilt to this day, and at some point, it may even cause them to go down a dark road themselves. These two "caregivers" have ZERO remorse, and no justice will ever find them. What a horrible injustice - all the way around!

The Cantrells are a menace to society, and should be placed somewhere they can do no more harm.

This documentary makes me wonder if there is a form of munchausen by proxy where the adult coaches the child to lie about being abused by another adult.

Let's just say the makers of the documentary Netflix'd it up with twists, turns, and then more twists and turns. The fact that this happened in the back woods of East Texas does not surprise me. This is quintessential conservative Evangelical East Texas justice. Don't believe conservative Christians when they tout law and order and then manage to orchestrate such a tragic, toxic dumpster fire of a spectacle.
